Enjoy stargazing from the hot tub of this brand-new 3BR/2BA Taos home, affectionately called Casa Cielo. This home offers a secluded location that lets you enjoy privacy, hiking, and incredible mountain and desert views. Soak up the vistas while grilling dinner on your sunny covered back patio.

Gorgeous custom features and traditional design are found throughout this 2,500 square foot upscale property with amazing mountain views, including a kiva fireplace and traditional viga ceilings. The chef in your group will love the gourmet kitchen.

This home also features the work of local artists. Of particular note are the breathtaking and beautiful photographs of architecture, people, and landscapes in and around Taos.

LIVING AREA

This inviting space boasts old Taos charm, a gorgeous kiva fireplace, large windows, and handsome viga ceilings. A pair of plush armchairs, a love seat, and a queen sleeper sofa sit before a 36” TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

The gourmet kitchen impresses with ample granite counter space and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Highlights include a gas range, a double oven, and French-door fridge.

Enjoy incredible views of the desert while sharing meals at the nine-seat dining table.

BEDROOMS & BATHS

This home sleeps up to eight guests between the three bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa.

The spacious master bedroom boasts a king bed, walk-in closet, flat-screen TV, and access to a sun-drenched patio. An en-suite offers a double vanity and walk-in shower.

Both the second and third bedroom each have a comfy queen bed. A guest bath has a double vanity and tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS

Stunning views of the mountains and vast blue skies await on the front porch.

A stunning new Ramada overlooks the rolling landscape where you can sizzle dinner on the gas grill, enjoy drinks at sunset, then sink into your private hot tub and enjoy an amazing view of the stars.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer/dryer, radiant floor heating, and driveway parking for five cars are provided.

RV parking is allowed outside of the driveway, but please note there is no RV hookup.

This rental does not have air-conditioning. Ceiling fans and traditional adobe walls create a cool indoor climate in the summer.

THE LOCATION

Your Taos getaway offers a quiet setting out of town, giving you a wonderful sense of privacy and plenty of hiking trails to explore. Yet despite the secluded setting, you’re 11 miles from Taos Plaza and 12 miles from the ski area. Located in the center of Taos, this historic plaza is home to galleries, boutiques, and popular local eateries.

Drive 20 minutes to visit the historic adobe settlement of Taos Pueblo. Also within a 20-minute drive, the 900’-deep Rio Grande Gorge is worth a visit for epic views of the canyon and river below. Picnic areas surrounding the gorge offer a perfect spot for lunch. The luxurious Ojo Caliente spa is less than an hours’ drive away.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Ski Trip Stay

Beautiful, secluded property that had everything our group needed to enjoy our stay. Less than 30 minutes away from Taos Ski Valley made this location perfect for us. The hot tub was great for relaxing at the end of the day. Overall our whole group was incredibly impressed.

Beautiful home with stunning views

Loved everything about this home. Lovely southwestern style with attractive decor. Beautiful kitchen/family room, comfortable bedrooms with 2 nice bathrooms. Cute Ramada where you can grill and enjoy the outdoors. Nice hot tub. Enjoyed the 360 views and the dark skies for stargazing. We would definitely come back and stay longer next time.

Privacy and seclusion

Situated on a large lot with tons of privacy. The house is a beautiful new build with large open floor plan with great outdoor spaces including a nice grilling structure. The view from the living room is amazing. It was the perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee. The hot tub was also nice and private with great views. Totally relaxing, could want nothing more.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed our time in Taos and our stay at this home. The location is very secluded without any neighbors visible from the house our patio. This made it a very peaceful getaway. But still a short drive to some good restaurants and an easy strive into Taos. Amazing views of the mountains and night sky. The house has no air conditioning, but even on the hot summer days, we were comfortable by opening the windows overnight to cool down the house. A good layout with large open concept and roomy bedrooms and bathrooms.

Bama to NM

From the initial arrival after our two day drive from AL to NM with our 2 boxers in tow...you get the immediate sense that you have picked the perfect place to stay to experience this state. This was a great base residence for all of our adventures to experience what NM had to offer! This beautiful adobe style home was an excellent representation of all its surroundings and the culture here. If you love privacy and some remoteness this is the place to unwind and enjoy. It is beautiful inside and out with a hot tub as well. You really never even have to leave Casa Cielo to have a wonderful getaway. This property couldn't have given us a better first experience in NM. No details or provisions for a getaway are lacking here.

The Taos Vistas You Have Been Dreaming About

This home was so comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedding. We had everything we needed. The picture windows are lovely and the best views! We heard coyotes at night and saw a few jackrabbits. You can actually see the milky way and so many stars at night! Watching the sunset itself was an activity at the house and there are plenty of spaces to relax. A short drive to Taos Plaza or be adventurous with easy access to the Enchanted Circle Drive. We had a great time celebrating my mom’s bday. A perfect private location. Communication with Vacasa staff was easy through text. Can’t wait to return and to recommend!

The lay out of the home was great. We loved the location as it’s central to all of the areas we planned to visit. Loved all the wide open space and views that could be seen from every window and every area outside. Loved the covered patio with grill. Hot tub was so nice! As a pet friendly home, there were clumps of dog hair under the recliners and a little in the freezer. Just a small nit pick, but definitely grossed me out a bit. Lack of AC wasn’t terrible in the summer once we figured out when to open/close windows. We live in Houston where AC is used year round so that was an operator error issue. Would definitely recommend this home.

What a wonderful, relaxing weekend we spent at Casa Cielo. It was just what we were looking for and very well stocked. Our kids and my parents joined us and we were all very comfortable. The stars from the hot tub were absolutely stunning. We will be back!

The description of this home was spot on. It was perfect. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The gourmet kitchen is exactly that! It’s lacking for nothing. 360 degree views and we had to decide which way we wanted to face when relaxing outside! Secluded, private and QUIET. Can’t wait to come back.
