The hotel gas a magnificent location, fantastic view. The lobby, the hall is beautiful, elegant and charming. Staff was helpful and kind. A bit disappointment was the cold and due to very rainy days wet rooms.

An impeccable hotel. They understand what 5 stars really means and they set the bar high for other 5 star hotels. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and every single staff member here is committed to ensuring your stay is nothing less than perfect. I simply cannot imagine even the pickiest person having issues at this hotel. Trust me you will not be disappointed. The pool is also incredible so be sure to set time aside in the itinerary for relaxing there. Ivana from the breakfast restaurant is a shining star and she made our stay so enjoyable as she was so kind and truly went above and beyond. My friend has a severe nut allergy and she took it so seriously and communicated with us and the chef everyday to ensure my friend felt safe eating breakfast at the hotel. I can’t say enough how great she was. If you are considering this hotel, you should book it before it sells out!

Top notch. Lovely room and beautiful hotel, pool and grounds. Very quiet but only a couple of minutes walk to the main Taormina sights. We enjoyed our stay just not long enough.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in the world. It is extremely private as they only have 24 rooms and you need a key to even access the property in any way. The rooms are comfortable, well designed, beautiful and enjoyable. The service is special. There is a rooftop restaurant for breakfast which provides beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding area. Food at breakfast is great. Overall, I rank this as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it if you can afford it.

All staff were very friendly, particularly Ivana who served breakfast on the terrace. The location was good, situated in the heart of Taormina. Room was adequate with a lovely balcony (Rm 18). However, the accommodation is not 5 star in our opinion and did not justify the extreme price. Size of room adequate but elements showed signs of wear and tear which we would not expect in a 5 star hotel. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly but there did not seem to be sufficient staff to meet guest needs.

The Ashlee was the loveliest hotel I’ve stayed at in Europe. The staff was courteous and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed. The hotel was very close to shopping and many restaurants. We loved having breakfast on the second level — the views were amazing. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Taormina!

This property is gorgeous, and extremely lovely. The only issue we had was the staff kept trying to push us to spend money the property. They were persistent we eat at their restaurant, buy drinks, and then accused us of using the mini bar which we did not use. The maid didn’t even check if anything was open, she just assumed which I thought was extremely weird. My husband and I don’t drink, so there was a bottle of wine in the room which was a nice gesture, however we were just curious if we could get something else instead (juice, or anything), no one responded. The room is slightly dated but still lovely nonetheless. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful grounds - pool, outside sitting area and rooftop breakfast location all have spectacular views of the sea. Our "superior" room was in a separate building across the entry courtyard from the main building. The bedroom was on the small side; no view of anything; in lieu of a normal bathtub there was a spa big enough to share with several friends (climbing in and out to shower was a challenge). The room also had a second story bedroom/bath, which had no benefit for the two of us. The hotel is in a quiet location but only a block or two from the principal tourist streets. Valet parking (a must) is 50 Euros/day. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. (Note that to reach the hotel, and the town, from the motorway requires driving up a somewhat steep, narrow winding road - just go slowly if not used to these roads - was only a bit scary when tour busses were headed in the opposite direction!)

My recent stay at the Ashbee Hotel was a mixed experience. While the hotel itself has many commendable qualities, there was one significant issue that affected our overall comfort. The location of the hotel is convenient, with easy access to the main street of Taormina (Porta Messina and Corso Umberto). The lobby and common areas are well-maintained, and the view from the outdoor pool was amazing. The staff were welcoming and professional. However, our room was situated on the side next to the street, and we encountered a major problem on Saturday night. A nearby nightclub played loud music well into the early hours of the morning, which severely disrupted our sleep. We ended up calling the reception at 3 AM due to the noise. Unfortunately, the hotel did not have any earplugs available, which would have been a simple yet effective solution to help mitigate the disturbance. The receptionist was empathetic and offered to move us to a different room. However, since we were only staying for one more night, we decided not to go through the hassle of changing rooms. Overall, the Ashbee Hotel has potential, but the noise issue from the street-facing rooms is a significant drawback. I would recommend this hotel for its quality and service, but be sure to request a room away from the street, especially if you plan to stay over the weekend.

Everything was great - staff were super friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and centrally located. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. Few minute walk to all the bars, restaurants and the tram that takes you to the beaches. Room is spacious but we wish there were a dresser with drawers. Highly recommend.

Located just outside Messina Gate, location is quiet but quick access to Corso and not far from funicular. Attentive, friendly staff. Nice breakfast on the roof level. Hotel has a Michelin 2 star restaurant (which we did not dine at-- didn't realize prior to check -in and we had other plans). Recommend highly!
