Since I provided the exact geo-position of the building as well as instructions related to the trash with my welcome package I am sorry in case you missed reading them. However, you might have texted us to get this informations during your stay. Note for future guests: You do not need to take care of the trash since this is a service my cleaning company takes care of.

Thank you for your review. I just want to be precise, the apartment is located in the historic city center of Taormina. Taking the way to the main shopping and restaurant area "Porta Catania" suggested by us is a 6 minutes walk (as per Google maps and my personal experience). However, I understand that each person walks at a different speed and may take a different way. Since the city center of Taormina is on the Hill Monte Tauro, nearly all buildings are rocked on the hill. Therefore walking around Taormina mostly requires some walking uphill or downhill :-).

Hi Andrei, thank you for taking your time posting a review which is much appreciated. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay! Related to parking: you are right, parking in Taormina is a problem. But one needs to know that "inside the historic city center center" where the apartment is, only residents can park. My ad points out this distinctly. Therefore we propose our guests to park in the nearby public car park. However, one can always drive up in front of the condo and unload the luggage without a problem. So, if one wants to stay "inside the historic city center," parking is a limitation. Since the apartment is an attic apartment, in one small area only, where some closets are for extra dishes, the ceiling height is lower than the regular height. Exactly as displayed in the images. To point out, all rooms have a standard room height. You are right; the two single bedrooms are small but still offer beds of a standard size and a wardrobe and from the experience of our previous guests are usable by adults. However, our ad shows all bedrooms with proper images to be most transparent. I thank you again for staying in my apartment. I enjoyed hosting you and your family!

Being located in the top floor you of course have unique views to the coastline of Calabria, Taormina and Mt. Etna. However in your review you have missed to mention that we (!) have carried up all your luggage to offer the very best service to you. All my best Mike

Hi Monica, I am happy that you enjoyed staying in my apartment! Thank you for posting a review. I would like to make some comments. The two double bed rooms and the single bed room have a/c as well as the living room. All a/c work well as they are brand new. As stated clearly in my ad and in my welcome package there is no elevator. So this shouldn't not have been a suprise . We usually help our guests with their luggage carrying it for them up to the apartment. As stated in my welcome package one needs to book the needed number of seats for the ride with the bus to paradise beach club the day before . If you do not book it the day before it may be that there are no seats available , espescially for a large like yours of 8 people. However if you would have contacted us , we would have taken care for you. We are always very available to assist our guests. Thank you again for having booked my apartment! Mike

Dear Paolo, thank you for your feedback and your comments. I am very sorry you haven't enjoyed the apartment the way our other guests have. As we have up loaded a very detailed floor plan as well as images showing each room you should have noticed that the apartment has 2 larger double bed rooms, 1 smaller single bed room and a small room with a bunk bed and two bath rooms. Also our description states that there is no elevator . Unfortunately you have not mentioned that the apartment offers really stunning views on the bay of Taormina, the coats line of Calabria and Mount Etna from the terrace, the 4 balconies, the two double bed rooms and the living room which is much appreciated of all of our guests. These advantages may be normal to you but aren't. As most apartments in the historic city center of Taormina have no view at all or no view which is comparable with what is being offered by my apartment. All our other guests have confirmed that the apartment is specious, well decorated, clean and very comfortable. Besides it is just few steps from the main shopping street . As the apartment is a penthouse there are some where the height is less than the standard height. However this can be seen on the images as well and has not caused any nuisance so far, as from mine and our guests opinion this is no issue in comfort. To avoid any misunderstandings I am always available for any specification or questions before booking. As the most important matter for me is, that my guests enjoy staying in this apartment.
