Lovely hotel providing excellent value! Very quiet, even though it is only 5 mins from the airport. Very nice restaurant serving excellent food (mushroom risotto was particularly nice). Does not serve alcohol in premises but our very obliging waiter provided plenty of ice!

The hotel is nice, clean and close to the airport. However, the staff didn’t communicate clearly what arrangements they had in place for Ramadan. They swapped breakfast for
We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel.
Spotlessly clean, fantastic service, and delicious food.
It is close to the airport, and therefore a distance from the centre of town.
It is very peaceful, apart from the occasional plane taking off.
Luxury at an affordable price.
10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars if I could it’s so comfortable and nice. Mohamed Boughaba and Reda are like personal angels that will go out of there way to bring tangier and Morocco in general to the tip of your fingers. Honestly they are enough to just stay at the hotel. The hotel is lucky to have a staff like that. If you’re planning to stay here bring them a gift.

Best thing about this property is the fact that it's the closest to the airport. The dinner menu was very limited and most things I ordered were unavailable and had to go for whatever was available. Breakfast buffet was good had many options and catered to different needs.
My room had no privacy as the window look over the communal garden area and everytime I opened the curtains, other residence would look adn watch (maybe worth getting privacy glass for the downstairs rooms).
All-in-all the property is worth the price. It had potential to be one of the best in the area :)
Nice newish hotel near the airport but a long way away from the city centre. Ideally you should be driving to stay here.
The reception staff were slow on check-in and kept apologising. We had 3 room booked and the AC didn't work in one of the rooms and had to be changed. On the day of check-on, I was asked to pay for the rooms. I told the guy that I had paid and even showed him the online payment receipt and my bank account entry where the amount had been deducted. He insisted I have not paid and asked me to pay again! An argument broke out between him and I with some unpleasant exchanges for 15 minutes. I threatened to leave. He then called management and was eventually told that I have indeed paid for the rooms! Totally bizarre experience! Left a really bad impression!
The manager in the restaurant was very friendly and helpful.
This is the newest and one of the best hotels in Tangier. I stayed here in February for 11 days and enjoyed every moment. The experience is like a 5 Star hotel.
Below are some of the attributes that make this hotel exceptional.
Staff – I have to say that the staff of Ben Batouta are the nicest you will ever meet in a hotel.
Reception- Yasin ( Manager ) , Ali and Eysaam – Always greet you with a smile and happy to help with anything you need. Beautiful seating and waiting area in the entrance by the reception.
Housekeeping – Youssef, Sukayna and the room service team ensure everything is super clean.
Rooms – Excellent rooms with nice décor, clean bathrooms and lovely beds. Good views of the garden.
Breakfast – Anouar always making sure you have everything you need. Ilyas the Chef always prepares delicious hot snacks for breakfast.
Location – Hotel Ben Batouta is a bit far from the town centre but is near the Ibn Batouta airport.
There is a Shell petrol station next to the hotel which sells snacks as well as having an onsite café where you can have lunch ( Tajines).
You could walk to the nearest small town of Boukhalef which has cafes, restaurants and retail shops. Turn left from the hotel and walk for 15 minutes. You can easily catch a bus or take a green taxi from there to the town centre. The bus fare is only 4 Dirhams. Green Petit taxi costs about 40 Dirhams.
The hotel has a dedicated and trusted taxi service. - Jamal - +212 6 55 17 98 78. ( 100 Dirhams )

Took 30 minutes to check in, we were the only people checking in! Only 1 coat hanger in the room. Apart from that ok. Beware it’s not close to anything of interest
This is Clearly a new hotel. It’s Beautiful, Clean & Modern. Check in is not until 2pm. However the staff was lovely & gave us great recommendations to visit during our stay. It’s about 30 minutes from the Ferry Port & Old Town, keep this in mind as taxi is more expensive & the blue taxis in the city do not go to the hotel. There is a local Uber app that is convenient & saved us money.

Disliked: Amenities
There was mold/mildew in the shower. There was no air conditioning, so we left a night early.
