"Jared (the owner) made our stay at Hubbards beach one we wont soon forget. The staff accommodated our every need, going above and beyond to secure us provisions when all the shops were closed for canada day. The cottage (oak hollow) was spacious, comfortably sleeping 5 adults, with a rustic and comfortable decor. The fireplace in the cottage saw a lot of use and was fully stocked with wood at no cost. "The only complaint I had was we arrived after 8 pm and it was very dark/ a bit difficult to find. Kitchen closed in 30 min as well so all we could get was fries and onion rings. Overall hotel was excellent and if you get a chance do book a Salty Dog excursion to Oak Island- you won’t be disappointed!"
