We really enjoyed our stay and the great service we received from the staff. Definitely will consider staying here again if I am in the area. Rooms are compact but very functional and there is lots of shared space in the common rooms that is kept in tip top shape.

Phenomenal location, walking distance from the train station and Nokia arena. Used the Hotel. The room was good for the price paid. Sadly requested the room service but it didn't happen. The reception staff were friendly and educational, and taught us a few common phrases. The bathroom had great water pressure and heat, and the wet room drainage was sufficient. Beds were soft and duvets were insulating.

Loved my stay in the hotel portion. The room was tiny, but under bed storage was plentiful, and there were lots of comfortable places to sit in the common areas. One star left off for facilities because the elevator does not go to every floor and I had to carry my heavy bag up and down the stairs. If you require the elevator make sure you inform them before your stay so they can put you on a floor with elevator service. The location is close to the train and bus stations, also close to the Nokia Arena, which is what I was in town for. Highly recommend for anyone on a budget, but also in general for anyone who wants a nice place to sleep during their visit to Tampere.

Great if you like cleaning bathroom floors.

This hotel has a lot of plusses - great location, friendly service, comfortable bed. BUT there is one big reason I can't give it 5 stars -- the bathroom. Maybe you enjoy cleaning the bathroom floor after every shower, then it won't be a problem for you. The bathroom is a "wet bath" without good drainage or ventilation. When you shower, the whole floor will be flooded with water and without ventilation (no windows, no fans) it will stay wet. The hotel provides a large squeegee so that you can clean it after your shower....but quite frankly, I don't want to clean the floor right after showering, especially not in a hotel. Without ventilation my towels also didn't dry between showers (24 hours time). So the bathroom is a big negative. The rest was really good.

Excellent location & comfortable stay

I stayed in a single room and I was quite happy with my choice. The hotel side was peaceful and quiet. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable although I prefer a bit stiffer mattress. There were two pillows, one soft and the other hard which was a pleasant surprise. There were good practical solutions like a foldable table and chair to save space. The bathroom was very clean but the floor tiles were cold! I had forgotten to bring indoor slippers. Otherwise the temperature in the room was ok the end of October. The hotel side had community kitchen which was handy and tidy. I found the hotel staff professional and nice. The hotel is within walking distance from the train and there are bus and tram lines really close by. Some suggestions: a small shoe rack in the room would have been great and could perhaps prevent dirt from spreading from soles. The kitchen equipment could do some updating (knives were missing) and general cleaning. Cabinets and cupboards are poorly labelled and I had no idea how recycling was supposed to be done. I was overall very pleased to stay and would definitely come again and recommend! High five!

Good place shame about some guests

Great staff on reception. Nice place but My stay was ruined by some selfish idiot who came in the room at 1 am and turned the light on for 1 hour to eat crisps !!
