About this property
Chic & Affordable Ybor Studio steps from 7th Ave
Ybor City was founded as an independent town in 1885 by a group of cigar manufacturers led by Vicente Martinez-Ybor in 1887. The original population was mostly composed of Cuban and Spanish immigrants so the influence is still strong in Ybor.
Only a 3 minute walk, and your right at the steps of one of the most historic restaurants in Tampa, The Columbia. We are excited to welcome you to Tampa. You chose a location rich with history, music, food and night life, so bienvenido!(Welcome!)
The space
The building is located in the industrial area just steps away from the heart of Ybor. This commercial building has been renovated into micro apartments with the future plans for a storefront. The buildings exterior is still under construction and we apologize as the Florida's tropical weather has delayed projects several times. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Other things to note
Free parking on premises.
Outside of building is under renovation for a building front facelift. We are mindful of guest so when work is being done, all work stops at 5pm. Please only access the front entrance during this time.
If bringing a pet, there a $20 per pet cleaning fee that be added to reservation.

Perfect for Gasparilla
The room had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. It was small but very efficient. We had a great time attending gasparilla, and traveling to and from downtown tampa and ybor city was super easy. A lot of stuff was walkable or a short uber trip away.

I had a great stay overall — the host was wonderful, very responsive, and clearly attentive to details. The space itself is tiny but functional, exactly as advertised, and works perfectly as a crash pad. Check-in instructions could have been a bit clearer, but once inside, everything was straightforward. A couple of things to note: the A/C is quite loud with no way to adjust the temperature (though the host thoughtfully provided a white noise machine), and the fridge also makes some noise. It’s not the quietest place, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. All in all, a solid, well-located spot with a great host.
