"We loved it here! The food was amazing. The staff were so friendly. We got to see the most wildlife at our hotel, more than during our tours. Howling monkeys right outside our room, ant eaters, iguanas. I named the black and white cat by the beach bar ROCKY. He loves pets. Kevin was so awesome by the beach bar. Minor complaint is shower is brutal to wash hair and it’s very easy for bugs to get in so do a good check. We had a massive cockroach in our room and various other little bugs."

"Amazing view of the ocean and Tamarindo Beach from every room, great pool bar cocktails and all staff members were professional, courteous, and seemed to really care that all was being done to accommodate every guest."

"Had a wonderful stay here. Right on the beach, clean rooms and good staff, free breakfast in the mornings. They have surfboards available to rent also. It is about a 5-10 minute walk down the beach to many stores/restaurants. Quiet location, would stay here again. "

"Great location, beautiful grounds. Staff was excellent. Lived the included breakfast, and the restaurant was great for a quick lunch or relaxing dinner. Magnificent sunsets. Very nice pool and swimable ocean. Howler monkeys made an appearance on property and put on quite a show. Really nice stay. Would recommend without any hesitation. "

"Stayed here during a trip through Costa Rica and this place genuinely delivered. The location right on Tamarindo beach is hard to beat. You walk out and you’re basically already in the water. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the AC actually worked well (always appreciate that more than the average person lol). The pool area was a solid spot to post up during the day, and the beach access made it easy to go back and forth without any hassle. Staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. They pointed me toward good spots in town and weren’t just trying to upsell everything. Tamarindo itself has a great vibe and the resort is right in the middle of everything, so getting to restaurants, bars, and surf spots was easy. If you’re doing a Costa Rica trip and want somewhere with a real beach feel that’s not overly touristy or stuffy, this is the move. Would definitely come back. 10/10 for the experience overall."

"Rooms were clean but small and basic. No amenities other then wifi. Breakfast was buffet style over the weekend but basic; scrambled eggs, rice and beans, sausage and french toast. Bottled water was 4.00 and there is nothing within walking distance. 100$ to and from airport and uber is illegal. Should have done more research on my trip before booking. Also, left birkenstocks under the bed on accident and maid sayd she doesn't see them. Not happy."
