"The Cabins has potential and is a great idea but unfortunately it wasn’t executed well. The drains in our room smelt really bad and there was a problem with the water. The shower was cold and the bathroom could have been cleaner. There were also ants everywhere in the room, including on the bed. However, the location was good and really close to town although can be a bit noisy at night from the road but this didn’t bother us."
"This property was lovely. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs from the boardwalk up to the hotel, but they do have a ramp as well. It is walking distance to many places to eat, dine etc. Also they did not have a full body mirror, but other than that everything was great! "
"Have been visiting Casa de Mar for years and everything is always amazing. The food is delicious and the staff (especially Consuelo and David) are incredible!"
"We booked Casa Sunzal at the last minute because our first accommodation was closed and canceled our reservation, but we couldn’t have been happier to end up at Casa Sunzal! The staff was so kind and helped us book surfing guides, board rentals, and a trip to Tamanique waterfall! The food was delicious and they were so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!"
"Very nice place to stay, security was such a nice person and help. Beach was a 2 minute walk from our stay, pools and food right outside our stay.
Highly recommend!!

If a restful holiday is part of your travel plans, Sunzal Beach might be the perfect place to visit during your trip to Tamanique. You can enjoy the restaurants while in the area.
It's excellent and all, but the boardwalk must get fixed. It's a hazard. Especially at night time if you're under the influence. Those rocks hurt!

The area is best to have a car but the front desk offered quick rides up and down the coast and Uber was available Walking can be tricky along the main road and it was very hot and humid during the day.

"The property is well-maintained and the staff is super friendly and attentive. It’s not “on the beach” but within walking distance, which is actually nice because it’s away from the partying surfer hot spots. We had a quiet, relaxing stay and again- the staff is so nice. Would stay here again. "
"It is in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a park directly across the street. It's very close to MetroCentro making shopping and eating very convenient. This is the second time we've stayed here. The owner even allowed us to check in early. There's plenty of storage, a desk, a couch that can convert to an additional bed, hot water and a nice kitchenette where you can make coffee, have a fridge, small table and dinnerware. We thoroughly enjoy this location! Parking is usually easy."
