The Kuala Lumpur Journal was a good hotel, and I had no complaints about my stay. Overall, everything was fine, but I felt it was overpriced for what it offered. I would consider it an average hotel and would rate it as a normal, satisfactory stay rather than an exceptional experience.

Reasonable price and easy access to transport and Bukit Bintang area. Our initial room had a leak in bathroom and staff quickly offered us another room. Towels were a bit musty but had basic amenities, including slippers. One of the lifts (left hand side) was hotter than the other. Overall, it was good value and staff were polite and pleasant, and catered to what we needed for our stay.

"This is a very basic, tired hotel. The rooms are very 90’s. Beds are rock hard and towels are old and thin as can be. It’s also Dry. You’re not allowed to bring alcohol in.
