"The staff where v friendly and checked us in early. The breakfast was ok, plenty of food but only warm. The description of the property was bad. The description said we could cool off in the pool, there's no pool, only the spa which is expensive to use. Also described the property as having ocean view, we assumed Ipoh was closer to the coast as it was our first visit, definitely no ocean view!! "Beautiful old colonial hotel with high-quality traditional furniture (perfectly maintained and freshly painted). Exceptionally lovely service by the owner, who pays good attention to needs and advice. Breakfast and lunch is in the same building (from same owner + discount) and in the same style. Also food is near-perfection."
