Lovely location, great apartment.

Fantastic apartment located right in the center, clean and tidy and well equipped for a short break. Difficult to gain entry after reception had closed, no access to courtyard to get to key box, had to seek help from neighbouring restaurant. Disappointed to not have sofa bed made up ready to sleep when arriving late.

Beautiful and spacious apartment

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. Beautiful place. Great service and communication. You'll need to climb one sets of steep stairs to get into the apartment and another to get to the cozy top floor. We had a small child with us and got to borrow a safety gate, so no problem.

Solid location, very central.

The good: Centrally located, full apartment, Full kitchen, A SAUNA in your apartment! The less good: no control over the heat. Very tight staircase to the bedrooms. If you are a huge person this is not a good booking for you The bad: only one key available

The apartment is not what is promised. There are not two bed-rooms. Actually there are non bed-room at all, it's all open area with some curtains. The table was broken and there are actual beds for only 4 people.

Rooms were ok, stairs really steep and for kids exciting. Bathrooms floor drain was clogged and when using shower floor was flooded. We asked for someone to fix it, but no one did.

No good experience

We were 5 ladies staying at Rataskaevu Boutique Apartment from 5th to 7th December 2024. The electricity went off on Thursday evening, so we were sitting in a dark apartment, no electricity until Friday14:00. Unlikely, on Friday we had to take breakfast and lunch in the city without shower as we didn't know how much warm water there would be for us (five persons) and anyway, not possible to shower in dark. We couldn't even make coffee, no use of the kitchen in the apartment without electricity. I sent a message to the company on Monday the 9th to ask about the compensation as we were without electricity half the time of our stay at the apartment. The answer we received - instead of any compensation - was if we could you let him know what caused the electrical outage, that it must have been something we switched on or inserted in the socket?! This was not a quality of a ‘Boutique Apartment’.

Sjarmerende leilighet med flott beliggenhet!

Dette var en leilighet vi synes var svært sjarmerende med alle sine spesialiteter. Fantastisk beliggende et steinkast fra Rådhusplassen i gamlebyen. Det er imidlertid viktig at akkurat den leiligheten vi hadde, ikke passer for familier med små barn, eller for de som er litt dårlige til beins. Leiligheten ligger i andre etasje, og den går over to etasjer. For å komme inn må man opp en svært bratt gammel steintrapp, og for å komme opp til toppetasjen må man opp en enda brattere og ujevn steintrapp (se bilde).

Et et ellers rart sted med en livsfarlig trappe!

En meget blandet oplevelse! Det var et dejligt centralt sted at bo. Det fremgik ikke af beskrivelsen, at lejligheden i sig selv var i to etager. Man kunne godt regne ud, at den lå på en 1. sal, men ikke, at rumfordelingen var sådan, at man skulle en yderligere etage op for at komme til det ene af to soveværelser. Det er et charmerende gammelt hus, men at trappen op til soveværelset ovenpå var en meget stejl, rå stentrappe, med meget høje trin, uden egentligt gelænder (kun et tov!) var ikke nogen god oplevelse! Det gjorde trappen ekstra farlig, at den drejede, så de meget høje stentrin ikke var lige brede. Selvom vi i øvrigt havde et godt ophold, åndede jeg lettet op, da vi forlod lejligheden sidste gang, uden nogen var faldet ned af trappen. Den er decideret livsfarlig!
