I’ve stayed at Lighthouse Apartments multiple times and they have NEVER failed. The apartments are super clean, well equipped and perfect for a Tallinn stay. 24 hour concierge / security downstairs. Good communication.

Incredible location walked everywhere. Beautiful views from the room. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Everything was convenient and comfortable. However, the bed and sleeper couch were very uncomfortable and the room needs to have black out curtains for the long hours of sunlight - both of which made it difficult to sleep.

Great location and good facilities
The apartments are on a busy road in a very good location. It is only a few minutes walk from the walls of the Old Town and also a few minutes walk from the Port passenger terminal. There are supermarkets, shops, shopping centres, restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes from the front door. The apartment itself is comfortable with a comfortable bed and good shower. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the space is big enough and also comfortable. The kitchen is equipped but not well equipped. A coffee mug, a wine glass and tea towel would have made a massive difference. Having the WiFi instructions printed somewhere in the apartment would also be nice. I would definitely stay there again and I can also recommend it. Staff are really friendly as well. If you are a light sleeper, bear in mind that the tram line runs from very early in the morning until late in the evening and you can hear it every few minutes.

The room was cute online but after check-in first I realized the room didn’t have a sea view as advertised, then i realized there were no towels and then no toilet paper. I tried contacting the property to resolve these issues from day one and to ask for the wifi password but there was no response on their end. It was sad because I was so excited to stay with this property but it ended up being a giant disappointment… save yourself the time and effort and book with another property.

-The apartment is clean, roomy & airy. Good A/C. Beautiful view & usable balcony. -24hr Front Desk helpful & knowledgeable. -Location close to many forms of transit; grocery stores & "Old Town". Taxi from airport 13euros/ Tram 2euro. - I think it woukd be practucal for linger stays as well.

Long ago I lived in Leningrad, now St.Petersburg , Russia. Old historical building in Tallinn reminded me of the old historical one back in St.Petersburg.It was so special to see real hardwood floors again, antique heavy carved stand for a TV, the highest ceiling possible for a residence ! Even street noise was comforting, reminding me that I am in a big important city, and real life is happening right outside of my room , streetcars running and happy people talking ! At night it was quiet ,but never dark , because I went to Tallinn in a mid June.Sun down at 11PM, sun up at 4 AM.I watched sunset from my own private balcony on a fifth floor.I watched colors of the old town changing with a weather. What a panoramic view ! I went to a pub next door , Scotland yard. I walked to fancy and upbeat brand new district around the corner to have bento box lunch at Om .My ride from Lighthouses apartments to the cruise ships docks was so cheap , it's very close .I watched a spectacular sunset over the Bay. Happy times ! Ask for a room that has a view of the Old Town !

Charming and perfect!
I loved loved loved the Lighthouse Apartments! It was so worth it to book the rooftop balcony apartment with the view of the city and the price was at perfect for my budget. It had an awesome view! The apartment was stocked with everything I needed. It was nice to be able to get some food to make in the apartment to save money by having less meals out. I’d stay again for sure!

This was a superb apartment. Spotlessly clean. A perfect layout with an amazing balcony and views. Well equipped there was nothing you didn’t have for one night or one month.

Receptionist was really friendly. I wish when you book you could get some instructions on what to do when you arrive exhausted from travel. There was no body wash or shampoo, and 1 light was broken. The bathroom mirror light has no visible way of turning it on. Upstairs had no pillows or comforters.

The location is superb. It is right across the street from the Old Town. It is also super close to the port. And it is just 20 minutes by tram from the airport. The room itself is spacious and it even has a balcony. What more could you want?

Dirty but spacious
The studio was spacious and looked recently updated. My issue was the cleanliness, particularly of the bathroom. There was urine not just on the toilet seat, but also on the toilet lid—yellow and hard to miss. Additionally, the shower was filled with someone else’s hair. Needless to say, I was hesitant to place a toothbrush on the sink, etc. The location was decent—just outside Old Town, so a quick (10-20 min.) walk to most sites. One thing that is perhaps more of note to another solo traveler, the door into the studio is not visible from the bed (in case you’re like me and prefer to be able to keep an eye on it). Also perhaps of note, this is more of a short-term apartment rental—no daily room service, etc.

Spacious home with great view overlooking old town
Had a great stay! Apartment facilities looked new! Very spacious and full with equipment for kitchenette and laundry. Couldn't ask for more! The location was great too, merely 5 minutes walking distance to Viru Keskus shopping centre and bus terminal, 10+minutes to old town just across the street!! And the bed is comfy and comes with super huge TV with Netflix too! I would recommend this to anyone!!

Nice stay in Tallinn
The location is good, it is a short walk from the cruise ship terminal. There is also a tram stop at the front which is a few stops away from the coach station. It is also a quick walk into the Old Town. The front desk was helpful. The wifi worked well. Be aware that the bed is on a loft with a low ceiling and steep ladder to access. I could not find any power points near the bed. The windows open to get a nice breeze, when closed they block most of the street noise.

Good location, unsatisfactory sleeping arrangement
I know that most reviews are amazing for these apartments but it was a really uncomfortable stay for us. The apartments are in a great location an easy 10 minute walk from the ferry terminals and 5 minutes from the old town. They are seemingly well equipped with a two-ring hob, fridge, microwave etc. However we ate out so cannot comment upon how good/useful anything was. Room was very clean, with WiFi (you have to ask for code - I guessed it) and good storage. However, there were two major issues when we stayed: firstly the heat was unbearable. The room was hot and stuffy and even though we left the windows open for the whole 4 days and the temperature was only 22 degrees it didn’t really improve. Secondly, the bed in our “deluxe” studio was on a mezzanine above the kitchen. I’m exactly 6 feet and was bent double by the top step, If I kneeled on the mattress I could touch both walls and was again bent over. Needless to say it was very hot and stuffy up there and neither of us could sleep. I ended up on the floor and my partner the fold out couch for all 4 nights. The stairs up were very tricky AND the light switch was by the entrance door, so I had to use the torch on my phone! Not very safe.

Stay at the top in Tallinn
Fifth floor apartment so well above street noise and with truly wonderfully views of park and churches of old town. Always someone at desk. Very spacious and modern — new bath, shower and kitchen equipment — with double French’s doors onto a private veranda. Much better option and value than hotel imo. I hit the grocery store and then could fix my own coffee, breakfast and lunch when I wanted. Old town is very close as are ships and boutiques. Not clear why called lighthouse.

Clean, comfortable stay with wonderful view.
We were there for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised in the photos. We had booked a room with a balcony and a view of the Old Town, and we got exactly what we ordered: and it was so beautiful! It was a perfect balcony to have coffee or a glass of wine or beer. Check-in was easy. The wifi worked reasonably well (though it was sometimes a bit of a weak connection). The location was super -- walkable to the ferry and next to the Old Town. We are looking forward to staying here again for a longer visit to explore more of Tallinn!

Tallinn trip
Really superb top floor apartment with balcony view over the city. The apartment was well equipped and maintained, tram stop close by as were a number of shops. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Very roomy & very close to old town
I love the room, it has kitchen, refrigerator, cooking stuff and enough to sleep 5 people. It has deck which facing the town and can see all the tower from church. One thing thought, the day staffs are non speaking English but they are very friendly

Nice Studio Apartment with nice views from a decent sized balcony. It has a nice sized and equiped kitchette. Liked that it was nicely furnished, updated and generally clean. The wifi worked well The balcony was a nice touch for a nice summer day location is across the street to the park / fortress walls that marks the boundary of the old city. Easy five minute walk if not less Would have liked to have some coffee provided but all in all a good stay and would use again.

Bad experience but great view.
Check-in was smooth but when we got to our room, it was filthy and messy. It was not cleaned after previous guests. Beds were messy and trash everywhere. Then they cleaned the room and we got it 2 hours after official checkin time. We did not get our room and the owners havent answered the phone once since ive been trying to call them for 3 days now. Very disapointing because we love that place since we visited there before and they have great views and near places we like to visit.
