"We really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was very clean throughout and has a good kitchen with everything you could imagine if you like cooking. The lounge area has a wood cabin feel with lovely views of the mountains and a combustion heater with plenty of wood. The owner James was very good at responding to questions through text."

"Our large family group of 9 found the property to be perfect for our needs. The cold weather wasn't a problem as the house had good heating with the fire lit for us on arrival and heaters in all bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites and bathroom more than adequate. We spent the days exploring the area, and the nights back at the house cooking our evening meal and enjoying our time together. It will be hard to find another house so wonderful and will judge them on how they compare to Karalilla. We will be back to visit again"

"I had to check in late. The staff were super helpful on the phone. I then had a problem with the keysafe (my fault) staff were there within minutes to help. The wheather was extremely cold. The staff had turned on the heating before I arrived and the cabin was super warm and cosy. Great xcabin, the park was quiet and great to walk around. Fantastic stay. If I gould give 6 stars, I would."

"We loved our 3 night stay at Red Box Retreat. The master suite is comfortable, with lovely views. The bed is comfy and the linen was very nice. The kitchen is easy to cook in and well stocked with pots and pans, plates and everything you need to cook up a storm. The property is private and a little oasis. We have stayed in Yack many times, but this is our first time at Red Box Retreat - and we hope to come back! Highly recommended. "
