Secluded but easily accessible cabin with inside toilet and stand up loft. Queen bed up stairs and futon downstairs. Must be able to use ladder to access loft. Refrigerator and microwave plus inside composting toilet. Breakfast goodies are provided. Outside is covered seating, a barbeque and Star Wars fire pit!. This is an Alaskan dry cabin, water is provided and showers are available for multiple night users. MTA password. Talkeetnaburlcabin

After a long day of travel, I went straight to bed and checked out the early the next morning. I didn’t have much time to enjoy but the bed was comfortable and I slept well!

Our stay was a perfect dry cabin Alaskan experience. We are locals who needed an overnight stay between our Anchorage - Fairbanks drive. We had a lovely fire at night. There was a variety of goodies, movies, books provided. Curt met us when we arrived and went over everything. He also saw us on our way out. Very kind! Highly recommend as a place to stay.

Cute and rustic Alaskan loft cabin. It's exactly as described if not better and Curt the owner is available for anything you need. I stayed here while going to a convention and then brought my 3 yr old son up for a night. Has all the necessities plus cool little touches you don’t think about. I highly recommend and will happily come back in the future.

Wonderful host

Kurt was the best host that we had. He greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had all we needed. He gave us a piece of his freshly caught salmon, excellent advice on where to go, and was kind and curious throughout our stay. The cabin was comfy and fun to stay in.

Alaskan style

We are Alaskans and we were grateful that we stayed at this pet-friendly truly Alaskan cabin w/ amenities. The owner met and exceeded our expectations in the cabin’s cleanliness, accessibility and sustainability. Next time we know we need a station stop between Alaska’s largest communities, we will book again.

We love visiting Talkeetna area. This one bedroom dry cabin is set up well and includes simple breakfast. The main bed is up in a loft so make sure you can climb a ladder. The bed is ok, but we would have preferred more pillows. Also be ready to use a compost toilet. We would stay here again. It is an Alaskan dry cabin, so it's like camping but with the tent already set up. :-)

I would totally recommend this place! The manager/owner was there and showed us everything we needed to know.The cabin was amazing,comes with a cool loft as well as drop down steps! I would so go there again in a heartbeat
