Our host was amazing fantastic breakfast enjoyed talking to her. Very Helpful amazing Alaska Range views on clear day will return again.

Wonderful, we’ll kept. Furnished beautifully. Breakfast was great. Freya the pup was awesome and friendly. The mountain was fogged in but if it hadn’t been the large window would have provided a birdseye view. Private bath with fluffy towels. No TV and you are not permitted to wear shoes in the house. Take slippers.

This is an excellent property. The house is exceptionally clean, cozy and safe. The view of the mountain landscape cannot be beat. It made my first trip to Alaska (I’ve now been to all 50 states!) that much more memorable. Tim — the owner — is a very nice man and very hospitable. I cannot say enough positive things about this property. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Talkeetna the next time!

This is a hidden gem, nestled in the woods with beautiful views of the Alaskan Range. The Inn Keeper, our host, was full of suggestions of what to do in the area. She was a concierge, chef, and great conversationalist. The Inn was like staying at a good friend’s beautiful home. Yet, we still had plenty of privacy.

My stay at the inn was excellent the host was very informative prior to my arrival and let me know about the conditions of the drive way and even offered to Re ambers me if I did not feel comfortable drive up a snowy drive way. Provided an excellent breakfast the following morning. The accommodations were well maintained and very clean.

This place is a really special, top-notch, hard-to-beat, extraordinary place to stay. From the really caring, thoughtful, and personable service, to the breathtaking views, to the comfy spaces, to the close access to town, the Denali Overlook Inn is second-to-none. I stayed with my husband and daughter, and we all were wow-ed by the wonderful experience the owner, Tim, his inn-keeper, Maleia, and the delightful young woman who cooked everyone a delicious and full continental breakfast. We loved talking with the other guests in the common space and also having quiet time outside being mesmerized by the views. This is a really special place that’s constantly full. I highly recommend it!! Grab a room if you find one is open!!

The most perfect stay with the most amazing views. Tim, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. Peque prepared delicious breakfasts every morning and made yummy cookies everyday. Maleia made sure we were comfortable and communicated with us before and during our stay. The Inn is beautiful and the property was very well maintained. Each of these staff provided us information of things to do and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our stay was the best. This had to be the friendliest place with the most beautiful views of Denali and wild life.

Maleia the Marvelous
Maleia was the most amazing host we’ve ever stayed with. Her ability to anticipate our needs was amazing. Tim was a gracious interesting informative and extremely helpful friendly host. Madei was also friendly, a good cook and went out of her way to help. (As did Tim). We Stayed there so we could go to Denali but in actuality the view was better from the Denali Overlook Inn and the town was a charming with many other shops and activities. Plane rides to glaciers, ATV's to rent, tours and others. When we come back, Talkeetna Tim at the Overlook is one of our "must do places to be".
