The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. "Lovely hotel right in the centre of Abergavenny. There's also parking a few minutes walk away and a great restaurant and bar. There are some great hiking trails to try nearby including the Skirrid, Blorenge and Sugar Loaf which has a vineyard on it !"

"Travelling for business stayed one night. Beautiful location, delightful old Manor House with an amazing view over the valley. Used the gym which is always a plus to have on site followed by the sauna. Food wad very good pricey but expected at this type of hotel. The place was a little dated in areas and could do with a revamp, showers failed to warm in my room, I could of raised this and I’m sure it would be sorted but at the time I was ok with it. All in all it was a nice stay would love to see the spa area brought up to date."
