Last minute booking on a road trip from Melbourne area over to Adelaide. Just got tired and wanted to stop. Very cool place, great surprise! It you are a race fan, car buff or just like cool cars you would enjoy the lobby !
Just a bummer it was a Monday, so the restaurant was not open... headed over to the local pub 7 minutes for good old fashioned pub grub.

Loved the super cars in the foyer - very unique. Room over pit lane and the track made for excellent viewing and gave a touch that no other Rydges has.

Booked wrong night. Changed to next night with the hotel within a few mins but still cost $20.00 extra.

Awesome to say in when events are on, only thing that wasn’t pleasing was that bathroom floor towel looked like there was poop on it and the cupboards had brown sticky stuff on them
Travelled all day only to check in and find no restaurant or room service available Had to travel into town or OTR convenience store back out on highway Apparently no dining options Monday- Wednesday Very very poor for the price asked to stay Rooms extremely small
Rooms are quite small but the bed is so comfortable and the bathroom/shower nice and roomy. Loved the cars on display in the foyer creating a feeling excitement and awe. Staff were lovely !

No bottled water in the room free or to purchase, no refreshments in room fridge,
Rooms are nice enough but tacky split system aircon on wall in a new hotel is not good, overall probably a 3 star hotel

Stayed because of the Rydges reputation and discounted room. Shower was not cleaned (hair in drain and sand in corners), finishing in room was not good quality. Bed was comfortable but room smelt 'musty'.

Quiet, modern. Close to hwy. very long walk to room. the hotel was not busy and surely there were plenty closer.

Terrible experience! Came to celebrate my partners 30th Birthday! And it was ruined. check in at 2 and was told our room wasn’t ready, they were short staffed, it would be ready soon. Went up to the room and the room was dirty. Hadn’t been cleaned sheets on the bed were dirty.Toilet wasn’t clean and had a foul smell in the room. Went down to reception to see when it would be cleaned. Was advised again short staffed. Waited in the lobby for hours. Didn’t get into our room until 7pm! dinner booked at the restaurant at 7pm. couldn’t even get into the room to freshen up and get ready for my partners birthday dinner. advised the restaurant that it was my partners birthday but they didn’t seem phased by this. The lady at the front counter looked frazzled and there was not that many staff around. Ordered food and drinks was given the wrong order. When we finally got our main meals we had to ask again to for our drinks as they didn’t bring them out. Overall the food was mediocre at best. Would have thought service would have been better considering it was my partners birthday and it had been advised when booked. I never want to return again!! You can understand a few mishaps to go wrong but it seemed there were a lot of things wrong with the whole experience at your establishment! Need better management as well as more staff! Unorganised unprofessional and unprepared! For a ‘world class’ facility you certainly got a lot of things wrong! We went home disappointed. Weekend ruined!!

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay and I apologise for the issue with the hot water, unfortunately 3 water heaters went down on the same night which caused the problem which thank fully was rectified in the first instance.

Stop over for the night. An interesting place to stay with it's museum of racing cars. Comfy bed.
Only negative comment, dinner, expensive, undercooked and cold roast spuds. Partners meal avg. for the cost. A glass of retail 30$ for $16.00. C'mon.

Hotel reception staff didn't explain on arrival early you needed to book for the restaurant on the nite.
Very dismissive made to feel it was are fault when we asked if they cauld make a exception as it was their overlook after we cauldnt be seated & tables a plenty.

I apologise for the miscommunication on arrival due to restaurant bookings. We always recommend guests to either book online or on arrival time as we often have large amount of bookings in the restaurant as we are an event based hotel.
I have spoken to Department Manager responsible and we have fixed the problem I assure you this is not to our usual standard of service.
