The pictures don’t lie, this is a beautiful home that suited our family very well. The home was clean and well appointed - plenty of towels for a large group, for use after a dip in the hot tub, and some beach towels to take with us to the secluded HOA beaches. No AC but plenty of windows and, at the time we went, a nice breeze could be felt when the windows were open. The kitchen was well supplied with plenty of quality cookware, traditional coffee maker, K-cup, toaster and your other typical kitchen appliances. WiFi was strong though cell phone coverage was a little weak for AT&T, stronger for Verizon.
Close proximity to the HOA beaches (North and South) but parking is limited. Walking is feasible but it would be downhill to the beach and an uphill return. We brought our own paddle boards and kayak that we were able to launch from the beaches. 30 minutes to South Lake Tahoe - we spent some time at the Tahoe Trout Farm, Magic Carpet mini golf, and Camp Richardson’s Corral for horseback riding. There were plenty of hiking trails nearby which we enjoyed - Sugar Pine Point State Park was a nice easy hike with beach access.
We had some issues which required contacting the property managers. Ability to text made communication very quick and they were very responsive. Resolving our issues took more effort and some were not addressed/resolved.
