  • The dock of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion on the shore of Lake Tahoe in Sugar Pines Point State Park. The lake is magical in itself, but sitting there enjoying the entirety of the scenery is breath-taking. The mansion tour is US $12 and a very nice docent led exploration. Clean property. Easy access to everything you need. Would be great if it was mentioned that the property has a gas fireplace, not just a “fireplace”. We arrived with a small child and noticed that the fireplace was left on and hot.

Quiet Solitude

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was great. Was a bit paranoid to make any noise due to stricted rules. Would have liked to play music on the deck or outside in the backyard. But we were a quiet group so it was not an issue. The house had everything we needed.

Serene staycation

Enjoyed spending much of our trip in the home. Beautiful, well stocked with towels blankets, all the essentials. Loved using hot tub. Easy, simple house rules - nothing crazy like some other properties. So much room; the house was huge for 7 ppl. We used garage clicker that was available for use anytime we left the property for easy access every return. There's like at least 10 board games in master bedroom closet. Our stay was pretty much a perfect stay. My only two suggestions, not deal breakers: 1. Keep at least one extra toilet paper roll per bathroom 2. Coffee - both nice to haves. I hope to stay again in the future.

Great place except Internet issues

We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub daily and the kitchen was well stocked with not only all the dishes you needed but also an assortment of paper products. There were plenty of towels and blankets and even small fans for every room. The biggest disappointment was that there was no internet for over half our stay. The property manager was responsive, but it required us to cancel plans on multiple days in order to get it fixed. We are still awaiting a response regarding compensation for our inconvenience. I am receiving a gift card for writing this review.

We showed up two hours earlier than check-in to see if the cleaners would allow us to put something in the fridge that was possibly going to go bad before the two hours were up. The house was empty and not cleaned. We called the host who told us that the manager was not working that day, but transferred us anyway to him. i forget his name, but he was from New York originally and he gave me his personal phone number to stay in contact if we got cut off. i told him I was concerned that the place had not started to be cleaned because there was a lot to do. The house is quite large. Within minutes two house cleaners came and we left. At that time there was only an hour and 45 minutes left to clean. We received a notice that our place was cleaned and ready for early check-in, and hour and 15 minutes later. When we came back the house looked clean, but then we noticed a huge stain on the hardwood floor in the kitchen. The floor was not cleaned. Then in the Master bedroom and downstairs bedroom, the cleaners had hung up wet towels that smelled like dirty feet. We literally had to rewash all the towels and clean the floor. I called the manager back and he was rude, so I let my husband talk to him. After that he asked us what we wanted him to do. We said, "Pay us back the cleaning fee." He agreed to do so. It has been two weeks since our stay and still no refund. I test the manger every day and he says he will do it, then that he did it. He clearly has NOT done it.

Favorite Place to Stay in Tahoe

This has become our favorite place to stay in Lake Tahoe. Has everything we are looking for- beautiful views, quiet street, prime location, fully stocked house, and a hot tub! Was the perfect getaway to share with friends. The house is incredibly clean, has everything you could need, and comfortable beds. Looking forward to our next visit.

LOVE THIS HOUSE!

We couldn't have been happier with this house. The location is fantastic. It is central to many wonderful places. It is situated at the end of the street adjacent to hiking and wilderness making it beautiful and private. The house is full of light and provides views of the surrounding trees. The house is beautifully furnished and the owners have thoughtfully provided everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. Our guests raved about it and we absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Perfect Private Tahoe Getaway

This cabin is our favorite spot to stay in Tahoe. The cabin is very private, at the end of a quiet street with all windows overlooking Sugar Pine State Park. Feels like you’re staying hidden in the woods. The cabin itself is well situated to have a large or small group stay, with a spacious living room and kitchen for everyone to congregate in. Everything was very clean, and had everything we could possibly need to cook and relax at home. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day as well. Looking forward to planning our next trip here!

Really great stay!

This house was perfect. Very well stocked. Really nice forest views from the house. The only minor issue was the high cleaning fees ($235!) and some other fees.

Great spot.

Really enjoyed this place. Very clean and nicely furnished. Only complaint was that the hot tub is locked and the combo was not provided via the check in process nor is it posted anywhere in the house. And there are curfew hours on the hot tub consequently we only got to use it one night. This is a Vacasa/VRBO issue more than anything. Otherwise really enjoyable.

Great house!!

We had a great time staying at the house. The property was very clean, spacious, and overall nice. The kitchen had everything we needed (something you don`t always find at a rental property). Would absolutely stay there again. 10/10 This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Perfect Stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. Everything was very clean and organized. Very impressed with the amount of kitchen utensils and dishware (something that often lacks in other rentals). Would absolutely book again!
