The house was very clean, well maintained, the hot tub was very nice and the management was easy to communicate with.I would just add that additional information about how to turn off the bear fence and wires would have been helpful to have at check in. It was self explanatory, I guess, but it took us some time to figure out since we have never encountered this before. The house is on a slightly busy street, but you can walk to walking paths. A very nice stay and would recommend staying here.
I stayed in the cabin 3 nights with my family of 4 adults. The cabin was the perfect size for us and was located in a quiet community convenient to the lake and areas we were interested in visiting. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was well equipped.
Beautiful views, relaxing environment and really close to the lake. A great get away. Went for a walk around the neighborhood and had some good food at a restaurant down the road.
Overall enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and had plenty of space for the 4 of us there. Location was nice, heavy snow in the area made it difficult to venture out more but had a market close by that was convenient and roads were plowed daily.
Stay was super cute and cozy. House was wonderful, very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Stayed for 2 nights with a group of friends while we explore the Tahoe area. Great central location whether you want to do north or southlake. Would stay there again!

Our family of 4 (including 2 adult kids) stayed here over the Christmas holiday. We had a great time. The home was very clean and comfy. We were able to watch a few movies together and was nice everyone had their own places to sleep. Enjoyed our stay and would visit again!!
We spent our Thanksgiving weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to cook our Thanksgiving dinner with no issues. Living room was warm and cozy and perfect for watching movies together. Rooms were comfortable and there were plenty blankets to keep warm. Location was perfect. We were able to visit severals beachs and enjoyed the views.
We would definitely stay here again.
The property was in a great location. Close to many wonderful things to do near North Shore and nearby attractions & local areas. We came for a surprise engagement for our son & future daughter-in-law. What a beautiful weekend! The hot tub was a huge hit, there were three bedrooms with comfortable beds and clean, organized space throughout. We would definitely come back.
Ideally situated by Homewood Ski Resort. Just a short drive to Tahoe City. The home was clean and perfect for families. Communication was easy and quick. Highly recommend. And would happily rent this property again.
We had a wonderful stay in Tahoe! The cabin is located in a great spot, near beaches and places to dine out but we cooked at home. Great bbq grill in the back yard which we used a lot since there was a foul smell from the oven. Could use some updated furniture, especially outdoors, downstairs bedroom and living room. Some areas need repair like the front steps. The rental company was very receptive when we called them about repairs. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped, unlike most rentals. Loved that there were hooks everywhere for towels and hanging necessities. It feels like a family home. Very cozy.
We visited with our family (2 Adults and 3 children - ages 17, 14 and 11) in early July and loved it! The cabin had everything we needed - including a beautiful backyard to relax. While I don't believe there is A/C, we were able to open the windows and it was cool at night. We loved the location - great for exploring Emerald Bay and accessing different areas of the Lake. There is a small shop - walking distance (or driving) to pick up food or groceries - we enjoyed being on the more quiet side of the Lake - would definitely stay again!
The cabin is nice and of course we love Tahoe. The living room is small so bear that in mind if you have kids but the place was clean and the backyard is great. The only thing we didn’t like was the check-in and out times of 4:00 and 10:00. They pretty late and early. Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay in Tahoe 👍🏻

We had a great time visiting Lazy Bear Cabin. The house was a great size and fit for our family. We got tons of snow which was so fun. Kitchen was stocked bathrooms were clean. We had to spend a night at our friends down the road because we lost power one night due to weather. Some personal suggestions; update candles/flashlights for when the power goes out because it did for a long time, clean downstairs carpet, update couches and downstairs bedroom furniture.
I stayed here with my husband and 3 young boys (all under the age of 10). It was a last minute getaway for us and thoroughly enjoyable. The cabin is adorable. It's well suited to people with young kids. It's been recently remodeled by the looks of things and there are lots of quaint little homely accents that make this place a home away from home. My husband now insists I buy him a rainbow trout oven mitt - just like the one which accompanied this home's outdoor grill!
The kitchen is well equipped - it didn't have a huge amount of cooking herbs but by far enough to get by. All the necessary condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard etc). The local Tahoma Market & Deli is walking distance away and has everything you could need in a pinch. If you are planning on packing lunches - bring your own tupperware as that was the only thing they didn't seem to have.
The beds are all comfortable and as described. We decided to take the downstairs bedroom so we wouldn't disturb our kids if we wanted to stay up a little late - however- it turned out to be a bit noisy for us when the heating came on!- Light sleepers might want to go upstairs.
The hot tub is always a must when I stay anywhere. This one is a little old but it serves its purpose - you definitely need 2 people to lift the lid on after use, it is very heavy.
Homewood ski resort is just a few minutes drive away and has great ski/board lessons for kids. Ed Z'berg Sugar Pines point is a public recreation ground and historic home which is also only a few minutes drive away. Both are well worth the visit.
The whole experience of Tahoma and the West shore is just that little bit off the beaten 'Tahoe' track. It feels more like it must have felt before the 90's took over California.
We would very definitely stay here again.
The property was decent but it needs a proper upgrade of furniture and fixtures. Except the beds all other furniture was not comfortable at all. Dining chairs were wobbly sofa was worn out and didn’t feel clean. Center table was not stable. Utensils in kitchen were with chipped and broken. Though they had a lot of stuff in kitchen the cups and plates were chipped. The fridge wasn’t clean specially water dispenser. There was a huge crack in the window in upstairs bathroom which I felt could be dangerous as it felt like it could break anytime. The fans in the rooms would make a weird thumping noise all night which made it hard for us to sleep. We also had issues with hot water during the first 2 days of our stay. The property manager sent someone to check and they said the owner has vacation mode tuned on for the water heater and he changed it to on and we should get hot water after 30mins. We waited for a couple of hours but still no water. We thought it might take more time so went about our day and return at night only to discover still no hot water. We called the emergency line and they sent someone the next day again to fix and they didn’t something (which of course the first person didn’t) and we got hot water and we could finally take a shower. It was pretty frustrating as when we spoke to property manager the next day instead of being considerate they blamed us that we didn’t inform sooner. Should we have just sat in the house all day waited all day?!? Overall avg
