The cabin was amazing! It was incredibly cozy, with a stunning kitchen and bathroom. The amenities, including private-acess to the beach. The access to nature and unforgettable nature views make it a perfect mountain getaway!

Carolyn’s cabin in North Lake Tahoe is a hidden gem. The pictures do not do it justice, this cabin is pristine, charming, cozy, and the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Carolyn and her family were such gracious hosts, providing area recommendations and puppy friends for our Corgi to play with!

Perfect Location

Every aspect of our stay here was great. The beach access was very convenient, the nearby restaurants and shops were fantastic. The cabin was clean, in a nice neighborhood and a perfect space for my wife, dog and me.

Great stay for ski weekend

Space was clean and heat worked well in the cabin. The place was easy to find and check in was perfect. We were not fully aware that the garage under the cabin would be in-use by the owners, but it was no problem at all. I would stay here again!

Perfect location

We've stayed here before and love the location close to our favorite market and the new hip plage- the Shady Side. Dog-friendly and quite neighborhood. Will stay again!

Great location

Located on the best part of Lake Tahoe (in my opinion) so close to so many activities. The cabin was great and the host was awesome. We arrived late at night and she still made sure we got checked in ok. Was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again

Charming Loft Cabin

A great stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this well-equipped, dog-friendly cabin. We had everything that we needed to cook in and work remotely. The location is a short walk to the lake and close to skiing. We'll be back.

Comfortable charming cabin

The cabin is a very charming and comfortable space. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the cabin is comfortably furnished throughout. Could use a little TLC overall given age of property and usage, to really standout at 5 stars, but still is likely some cuts above most other rentals in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect spot for two people and maybe a child. Super close to Sunnyside and the terrific association beach there. Easy access to trails. We will be back for sure.

Tahoe at its best

This charming property is in the wonderful Tahoe Park neighborhood, amid tall pines and cedars and only a 5 minute walk to several excellent restaurants, a sports rental shop, a general store and a private beach at the lake. Tahoe City is 2 miles away. Carolyn has done a nice job of decorating the place in old tahoe style, and it was a very comfortable and quiet stay. Will definitely keep this place on our A list for future trips to the west shore.

Great location and access to homeowner beach

My husband and I stayed for five nights over July 4th and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the cabin was great, and there is a comfy pull out bed (not shown) if you prefer separate beds. We had our dog who is a “leash” dog and be prepared, the neighborhood has quite a few off leash dogs. Everyone was very respectful of our dog on leash, however. The location to the private beach was awesome and we enjoyed the bike trail into town. Hope to stay at the cabin again!

Adorable and cozy cabin!

Loved our stay with Carolyn! Our little apartment above the garage was exactly the right fit for our family - our son loved the rollaway bed and it was so nice to be able to bring our pup along. When the stairs are icy, you have to watch your step going up to the entrance. Overall, a magical snowy getaway in the woods!

West Shore Cozy Cabin with great location!

We enjoyed our stay here and really loved walking to Sunnyside, Fireside Cafe and the private beach facility nearby. The cabin apartment is above the garage and the main house is also on the property but we really liked the owner and her tenant. The place was very well stocked in the kitchen and had a very comfy bed and nice sheets. She had the best stocked bathroom as well with extra items that some travelers may forget. She even provided a black makeup washcloth! Overall, it was a great getaway for us and it just went by too quickly!

Cute cabin in nice location

The cabin looked like the ad but with quite a bit of snow. Perfect location for skiing at Palisades and Alpine. Kitchen was not as well equipped with limited supplies. We asked about grill and were told it was not available but then were invited to use the neighbors. Bed was extremely comfortable. We were very appreciative of the addition glasses left.

Cozy and spacious space, great skylights! Very comfortable and close to the lake, nice neighborhood. I didn’t realize the bathroom walls didn’t go all the way to the ceiling. It was fine for me and my partner, but just something to note for other people considering. Thank you!
