Everything about this visit was great. The location on the lake, the views, the neighborhood and the closeness to other amenities. We were preparing to go on a jeeping trip on The Rubicon Trail and this was a great spot for us to start our vacation.

Beautiful location.

The townhouse was clean and perfect for our stay. Douglas responded quickly to any questions I had. Check in was a breeze as was checking out. We are already looking at future dates at this location for a larger family gathering. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing stay.

Wonderful location

Dougs place is well stocked and the views can't be beat. The beds were comfortable and the condo has lots of space. The views of the lake are spectacular. You can sit on the balcony and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the water. If you are looking for a quiet place with great views i highly recommend.

Gorgeous View of Lake Tahoe

The condos at St. Francis Lakeside have been our choice for annual family gatherings over the past 15 years. This is our second year at this one. The deck affords unobstructed views of the lake and mountains - from sunrise to sunset. Close to our favorite hikes. Easy access to Tahoe City.

Relaxation by the Lake

This was our second stay at this property and it was amazing. One little hiccup on arrival of beds not being made, but the owner took care of it from his own vacation in Europe. The place is fantastic. The wind was not our friend so we didn’t spend time on the lake this time but sitting and watching the lake was nice. Morning visits from the geese each morning was something we looked forward to. Even saw a coyote try to get the geese one morning.

Lake steps from the door

A perfect 3-day getaway with friends. The water access is easy and so close to the condo (make sure you bring water socks if you're tender-footed). We enjoyed having the private lawn above the beach. The condo had everything we needed, but bring beach towels for summer swims. Our second stay, and hopefully not the last!

Ultimate Family style vacation home

Our wonderful family vacation was blessed with a little snow mid October. So happy to see the gas fireplace. Like other reviews we were so happy with the location location location, right on the waterfront. All the rooms were exactly as described & just perfect for our family of 9. 6 adults & 3 children. Not in town, which we like. Thank you Douglas!

It is the most amazing Vrbo property we’ve ever seen, breath taking views of the lake, super spacious and well decorated & well equipped home with everything you need!! Very clean and great location/ quick drive to Palisades Tahoe mountain and tons of food / bars nearby in town. Most importantly, the host has been so wonderful, helpful and patient before and throughout our stay. 100% recommend you book this ASAP.

Lakefront Paradise

This property features breathtaking views of the Lake and immediate access to Tahoe's refreshing waters for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. It's nearly impossible to find a lake front rental with four bedrooms and four baths at this price point. To top of it off, the owner was always available to answer any questions about the property.

Relaxing water front stay

After reading the reviews, we decided this was the place for our family reunion of six, 55 plus family members. It was great for us! The views are seriously amazing. The grounds are really nicely kept up. Perfect place to launch a kayak. The owner is very responsive. We had an excellent experience! Thank you!

Perfection

If you are looking for a spacious place to stay w arguably the best views on the lake this is the spot. You are seriously 15 feet from the water with absolutely fantastic unobstructed views. You can launch a canoe or paddle board right there. Great spots to take nice walks as well. Tahoe City is 2 minutes away. Any concern you may have is void w this places views. We stayed w 2 teens and 4 adults. As mentioned very spacious. Owner is very quick to respond. Thanks Doug!
