Short Stories is always my go to hotel while visiting Los Angeles. I find it fairly central (between Beverly Hills and Downtown LA) to shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores like Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. The hotel sits on a busy street, but you wouldn't know based on the courtyard that gives the hotel a tranquil feel.

Poorly designed facility. Took over 30 minutes to come down from 15th floor to lobby in am. No lobby rest room. The closest rest room was down in the gym area in the basement NO AVAILABLE ELEVATOR. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN
