This is a great place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet and it is a 15 minute walk to the Proctor district.

Cute little basement unit

This rental is a really cute basement apartment space. It is well appointed and the perfect size for our visit to the area. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had a lovely stay.

Sweet Basement

Fresh and very attractive interior. Clean and modern. Two big bedrooms each w a big bed. Nice sitting room . Good kitchen. Outside space at back shared w owners & toddlers who live upstairs. Very convenient for Proctor “downtown,” for everything in Tacoma itself, and for Point Defiance.

Friend reunion

Terrific location in North End Tacoma. Gathered with 3 friends to spend an evening preparing food and visiting. Kitchen met our needs to prepare a nice meal. Lots of choices to watch movies on the large screen TV. One of us made use of the hot tub. Enjoyable under the winter sky, and the owners were respectable for the use of this shared space. The beds were super comfortable and the shower in the bathroom has a nice, wide rain shower head. Thank you for the cozy stay!

Couples weekend.

My husband and I met some friends here for the weekend for a concert, The accommodations are nice and it allows so much more space and a better price than getting hotel rooms. Just a short drive to downtown Tacoma and the waterfront where there is plenty of activities and close to the freeway for going up to Seattle. At the property you have two nice size bedrooms both with king beds and there is room for four to play cards in the kitchen. There is a beautiful back deck with a hot tub, however this can only comfortable have three full size adults in at a time, but there is some nice seating for a quite morning outside by the tub. Do make sure to read the description. This is a shared property and you will hear the family living above And if you are tall will need to watch your head in spots where the ceiling is low and on the doorways.

Noisy House

The basement apartment was pretty clean. But for a 300 cleaning fee I expected very clean. Due to the length of time we’re stayed (3weeks) we needed a few more kitchen amenities. The owner was very good about supplying us with needed Kleenex and more coffee pods in a very timely manner. But the overall noise factor of the location was the hardest thing for us. The owners have children and you can’t help it when they were noisy but there areas of the apartment you hear them talking and what they were saying very clearly. I appreciated the quick responses from the owner and how safe the neighborhood was but I don’t think I’d recommend this location for a long term stay.
