We checked in so late because the room was not ready yet,and then the front desk said we can check out late @4pm instead of 12noon,but at 12noon the housekeeping knocked said that we need to checked out..And I asked for hand towel,and said to follow but we didn’t got any..

It's a nice hotel, but there were no towels in the room. I called for some and they were supposed to be delivered, but weren't. Called again in the morning and finally got some. :/

I can't say enough about the Summit Hotel in Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines! The staff is so very customer service-focused as to make each guest feel as though they are uniquely respected and important. For me, the only detraction to the whole experience was finding the fire door to the side stairs left open a couple of mornings. This presents a security risk, which is contrary to their otherwise safety-oriented environment.
