It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. "Wow, what a stay. We stayed here as a family for a week in May and it was incredible. The views from the villa are unreal and the place itself is gorgeous. Monica is a fabulous host who cooked us a delicious meal on our first night. Her and Giovanni were so welcoming and suggested a beautiful restaurant nearby one evening and even booked it for us. "This little farmhouse is 100 years old and still had everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, nice showers and plenty of hot water. It gave us a taste of a life lived long ago. "The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. "The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating.
