The Quinta da Moita is out of the way of the Douro Valley but well worth the detour. I stayed there 3 nights on a solo trip. The owners are fantastic, very sweet. The property was as described and better. The host and her team were available to sort out any issues and they helped us organize a Jeep Tour and a Chef who cooked us a very special dinner, The whol view and location was perfect. Great house and great hosts.

We stayed here for about a week with our children aged 13 and 11. We loved our time here, the estate the apartments are on is beautiful. The apartment was clean and the staff are friendly and very responsive. Breakfast was delicious too.
