Big group holiday perfection

Quinta d'Alegria is a large property perfect for a big group (we were 15). We were able to spread out across the main house and rooms by the pool. Elen and Darwin have thought of everything in terms of spaces to spend time in, kitchen appliances, a fantastic semi-outdoor kitchen, secret garden with yoga mats and cosy corner, meat and fish BBQs, huge beautifully sparkling pool with sun lounges and proximity to the beautiful region of river beaches and historical sites. We didn't make it to the local restaurant but heard great things about the food quality and price. Arganil is a short drive away for shopping (intermarche and LIDL plus other essential stores). Elen and Darwin currently live next door and are very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this beautiful property that they gave given so much love and attention to.

An amazing place!

We stayed at Quinta d'Alegria with my brother's family (kids from 9 to 13 years old). We had a amazing time! Elen is a wonderful host and the villa is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, secret garden and the gorgeous pool. Elen also recommended a local chef who came and cooked for us for 3 nights, it was absolutely fantastic.

A weekend to remember!

This was one of the best weekends with friends that I've had! The house is trully wonderful,with all the conditions for days well spent! Great bedrooms and an amazing pool that was our true delight due to the high temperatures! Elen and Darwin were awesome hosts, always concerned, helpful but also very respectful of our privacy! We truly loved every bit of the days,and the worst thing was the fact that we had to leave! We will probably get back someday!!

When you think there is no paradise and you find it.

Amazing place, with a big swimming pool, ideal to rest , relax and spend a few days or a week. Good for children, with lots of funs and games. Nice comfortable rooms with private bathroom , very good conditions for cooking, with a full equipped outside kitchen, barbecue and a pleasant bar for a good night conversation. The Quinta d’ Alegria has a good athmosphere that make it unforgettable when you get to know it. Elsa and Darwin are really nice hosts, always available for us.. THANKS FOR ALL.. We will come back for sure..
