This high-quality, stylishly furnished holiday rental is located in the Kneipp spa town of Bad Tabarz, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, right on the banks of the Laucha River. Extensive forest swimming and hiking through picturesque gorges and dense forests provide a truly restorative experience. But Bad Tabarz also offers excellent opportunities for active holidaymakers. The area surrounding the Großer Inselsberg (916.5 m) is among the most beautiful and exciting hiking regions in the Thuringian Forest. The cliffs above the Lauchagrund are also a major rock-climbing area. Nearby runs the Rennsteig, Germany’s most famous high-altitude hiking trail, which not only attracts many hikers in the summer but is also ideal for skiing in the winter. The “Summit and Viewpoint Tour,” a loop trail that begins and ends in Bad Tabarz, was also voted Germany’s most beautiful day hike in 2022.<br><br>The apartment is located directly next to the Arenarisquelle Kneipp spa. The soothing sound of the flowing Laucha River and the direct view from the balcony onto the spa’s pond are further highlights.<br><br>The light-filled apartment features a spacious living/dining area with an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired (Bora cooktop with integrated range hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, slicer, and egg cooker). The dining table is extendable and offers plenty of space. <br><br>Cosy candlelit evenings with a blanket on the leather sofa, culinary delights paired with a good wine, or exciting entertainment on the 55-inch TV with satellite reception and a DVD player offer a variety of options. <br><br>DSL and landline connections are available. Wi-Fi is at your disposal. <br><br>The two bedrooms offer a high level of comfort and are equipped with remote-controlled blinds. The property’s unique location offers the opportunity for restful, quiet, and undisturbed sleep, even with the windows open. Upon request, a cot with a comfortable mattress is available for young guests up to 3 years old.<br><br>The bathroom offers comfort with underfloor heating, a shower/tub combination, a sink, a large illuminated mirror cabinet, and a hair dryer. Especially after a walk in the woods or a hike on the directly adjacent, well-marked trails, a relaxing soak in the tub is pure bliss.<br><br>In addition to the entryway with a coat rack and mirror at the entrance to the apartment, there is an utility room equipped with a sink, washing machine, condenser dryer, clothes rack, ironing board, and a cordless iron.<br><br>A high chair and a stereo system with radio, Bluetooth, and an USB port round out the amenities of your holiday apartment at Villa Grün.<br><br>The apartment features hardwood floors and underfloor heating. A free parking space for one car is available. There is a storage area for bicycles, and a lockable basement storage room is available.
