"The surroundings are lovely, the room was very comfortable and cleaned daily. It wasn’t the weather for the pool so didn’t swim but I imagine it to be perfect on a hot day. One of the most relaxing stays I’ve had anywhere with kind friendly staff and delicious well priced food. "The hotel needs a makeover! The pictures profiled are not current as the hotel is quite run down. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, there was a big gap above the door out to the balcony, the shower had no drain so the water ran from the shower across the bathroom to a hole in the floor by the toilet. You could hear the people in the rooms adjacent and also anyone in the hallway. On a side note the hotel is set back from the main road so it dampened the street noise somewhat. I am sure back in the day it was a lovely hotel but it needs some work to return the grandeur. "
