"Exactly what we expected. The room spotless, cleaning service each day, staff was kind and courteous. Buffet had enough variety for a hearty breakfast for the long Sapa endeavors. The views are spectacular. We were fortunate to have sunny clear afternoons with breath taking mornings. Room 408 is recommended. Pool heared pool is perfect in the evenings."

Food: holy cow. We love good food and elevated experiences. We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants around the world. Every dish at Sapa Clay House is on par with the best restaurants we’ve been to. We were continuously in awe of the beauty, freshness, taste, and presentation of our lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Chef Huan could have a job at any restaurant in the world. We are so lucky that he is the chef at Clay house. I wish we could have stayed and eaten there for a week. Our wine was also fantastic. Cooking class: best one we’ve ever had (compared to Tuscany, Sicily, Japan, Spain, Denver, etc)."
