"Nice little motel in a perfect location for enjoying downtown Durango and watching or catching the train. We love walking to the great bookshop Maria's (on Main Street) and Steamworks Brewery when we stay. Movie theater is basically right next to motel if you have a rainy day. Close to lots of restaurants and fun shops, too."

"The stay was good. Only complaint is starting in October the air conditioning doesn't work. It was about 78 in the room at night with no air flow, we had to open the window. Other than that it was fine."

"Right in downtown Mancos. Small room with shower. Mattress lumpy, not comfortable. The upstairs area is quite charming with a sitting area and a large full kitchen where we made our lunches. Very clean. Be careful when you pay- you are offered the opportunity to add a tip and without thinking I tapped 20% on a bill of about $400. I wish I had said “no tip” and just left cash on the nightstand. When I asked the owner about it she said all the tip goes to the cleaning staff and offered a refund. I let it go. Lucky day for some housecleaner."

"This was a perfect place to stay. It was quiet and beautiful. The host ensured that we felt welcomed. Our 2 dogs often rested on a blanket observing the valley below. The night sky was like a blanket of jewels; no street lights to mar the ambiance of the setting. This home is very pet-friendly and the host always responded quickly to our questions. This home is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the noise and bustle of the city or town. The home was clean and toiletries were thoughtfully provided by the host. The location is ideal for visiting Durango and Mesa Verde which were our planned destinations."

"Amelia and Anna were easy to communicate with. What a beautiful property. We had our wedding here and everyone couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the property was. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was a beautiful weekend and I hope to stay here again and to make it a much longer stay!"
