"The pictures don’t come close to capturing the Mountain View’s from the cabin porch and how quiet and peaceful it is there. We were also pleasantly surprised at how much cooler than Durango because of the shade and extra elevation. If you like to mountain bike the Twin Buttes trail is a shady drive away. Just a great stay for us."

"This property is a hidden gem. The cabin was immaculate and surrounded by beautiful trees with an excellent view of pastures, horses, and hills. The cabin was just as described and centrally located between Mesa Verde National Park and Durango. It is just enough off the beaten path to see the wondrous heavens at night without any light pollution. Kathleen is an amazing host and if we are ever in the area again, I would not hesitate to book her place again if it were available. Highly recommended! Thanks Kathleen for a wonderful experience!"
