Terrific breakfast, although they put things in these glass mugs which is cute, but it’s a pain in the ass when you have 74 glass pots and lids on your table, not to mention the extra work for the staff, who, by the way, were all fantastic. "The cabins are old and need a bit of work. In the ‘wet’ room bathroom, the water from the shower ran away from the drain and out towards the kitchen. The crockery, pots and pans weren’t clean and the mattresses were stained, saggy and soft. It’s very basic accommodation but as they charge you more than a family room at a good hotel it needs to be much better."

"As an unexpected night stay in Aarhus with our day packs only, the hotel was able to provide us chargers for our phones and a toothbrush. They also tried to help with our situation with baggage. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The frosted glass bathroom and shower in the room was a little strange but for a couple it was OK. We didn't use the breakfast. The hotel location and cost was great. Close to the train station."

"This hotel nicely balances a classic feel with modern touches, and the location is perfect for exploring Aarhus over a few days. Staff are friendly and the rooms are well set up. My room didn't have much space to hang cloths, but the bathroom was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the snacks put out in the afternoon are a bonus. Highly recommended!"

"This was the best hotel I have ever been to, the breakfast was delicious, good range and vegan friendly (and gluten free options), everything labelled clearly. The hotel clearly values sustainability- food waste and general rubbish bins in the bedroom, plus recycling available outside the rooms. Comfy beds and sofa bed set up for us ahead of our arrival. Well equipped kitchen (fridge off on arrival, love the sustainability there!), and smart tv for chrome cast/airplay. Speaker in room. Good wifi. Lovely decor. Kind and helpful staff. Gym was small but well equipped and clean. Sauna was out of order but would be a lovely amenity in sure. Love it and will be back!!"

"Our room was dark, but very clean. I mentioned the darkness because I am visually impaired and it was hard to see in this room except for the bathroom which was well lit. This ‘corporate feeling hotel’ was quiet but we arrived on a Sunday. The breakfast was delicious; I had the best cinnamon bun of my life here. I am usually gluten-free so the hostess provided me with a gluten-free bun, which I appreciated. There were a lot of breakfast food options. We were here only briefly, one night. It didn’t seem like there was too much around but a train line."
