Inexpensive lodging option within walking distance to many attractions. Shared kitchen in the basement with a couple of fridges. Walls between rooms are rather thin, and a little bit cold in the room. A few strange characters intermittently hanging around the reception area.

I absolutely loved my stay at Boho Budapest and was so sad to leave. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are exceptionally kind and competent. Upon check in, we were given welcome drinks, vouchers for drinks later, and public transportation tickets (valid for 10 rides). The room (I chose the deluxe and the very slight upgrade was worth it) was so large and comfortable and well designed. The bathroom had robes, a towel warming rack, hairdryer AND straightener, among other useful/obvious amenities. Breakfast was very good. And I loved the neighborhood — on that street there are cafes and wine bars and other restaurants (with a lot of patio seating), a great vintage clothing shop, and more. It’s close to so many public transportation options and in a very walkable neighborhood. I really hope I get to come back to Budapest to stay here. It was perfect in every way.

The room was dirty, with weird stains and suspicious hairs everywhere. They give hardly any shower gel/shampoo- we had to use hand soap gel for the rest of our showers! The toilet and paper are literally IN the shower, so everything gets soaked. Nowhere to hang your towels. The doors don't lock. ...
