- Bright and cosy three-rooms apartment on the first floor in a strategic area of the city, well connected to main tourist attractions. The kitchen is complete with dishes and appliances: water boiler, fridge, and microwave. The sleeping area consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, 1 sofa bed, and 1 double bed. So this is a tricky review as the apartment is very sweet, large and well located. The top floor outdoor space is great. And the host was kind helping us pay a local parking ticket when we couldn't figure it out.
Unfortunately we had a series of problems with the apartment from the moment we got there - the door lock wasn't working and we had very little/no running water for 2 of our 3 days. The host was very fast to sort out the lock but we had to leave the apartment unlocked for a day while he waited for the locksmith to replace the lock.
But the biggest challenge was having no or very little water for 2 days. No one wants to go without a shower when on holiday so this wasn't fun. It was also not something the host could do anything about as we were told it was a regular issue with the local waterworks. The host did give us a small break but covering the local occupancy tax himself but with some reflection, we think we should have been given a refund for at least a night.
If you don't mind a bit of adventure and can roll with travelling challenges when they come up, it really is a sweet apartment!
