"The room was very clean . However , the hotel charged me $30.00 & when I called to ask why ..the staff member replied someone had mistakenly charged me for a pillow and would be crediting the money back to my account . And , the 1 staff member forgot to give me my drivers license back when I returned the luggage cart ."

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to shopping and main highway. The home was literally spotless. The split level entrance took a little effort for us Old-timers, but we got some exercise. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our meals. There is a little deck off the kitchen with table and chairs, which was a bonus place to eat or just relax with a cup of coffee. We had excellent interaction with the host. For example, we inquired about a blender to make smoothies and she provided one. We were visiting relatives and doing sightseeing including the arch, botanical garden, forest park, JB, and Kimmswick. We flew in to STL Airport. The home is close to interstates so that your within 30 minutes of getting around the area. We will definitely stay there on future trips."

"First I’d like to say we be try much enjoyed the house. Conveniently located.We did have a mishap where the house was not cleaned from the previous guest. I messaged the owner and they apologized and had the cleaning lady out within about an hour. Their normal cleaning lady was out of town, and things must have gotten mixed up. Things happen. They were very apologetic, took accountability and corrected the issue and also paid for our dinner that night. We loved the game room. We couldn’t find the remote for the tv in there. I assume the living room remote would have worked, but I didn’t try it. The decor was great. Kitchen was nice and clean. When it rained however, ants did come in through the kitchen window, which I relayed to the owners upon check out so that they could spray or get traps. The bathroom was fine. No water pressure/hot water to the hot water side of the sink. The shower was fine, and did have hot water. I do wish there was a lock to the bathroom door and towel hooks. Beds were comfortable. One big issue, however, was there was no smoke detector anywhere and the back bedroom had no window, which is a safety concern. Upon check out the cleaning lady came before 10:30 (check out was at 11), and then even came in the house at 10:30 and we were still packing up. So we did feel rushed to get out. Again, not the normal cleaning lady, so I’m sure that was the reasoning. Overall the house was great for the price we paid and I would stay there again."
