Come enjoy our wonderful creekside cabin which sits on 4.5 acres and is within 2 miles of Ricketts Glen State Park.

This small, newly updated, cabin is surrounded by Mountain View’s, open air, and creekside perfection! It’s a great space for 4 people to get away and enjoy nature.

The cabin has all modern amenities - wifi, air conditioning, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), outdoor fire pit, large screened in porch, hammock, wifi (starting 2/20) and gas grill. There is 1 bedroom downstairs (Queen) and 1 enclosed loft bedroom upstairs (1 Queen and 1 Twin). The living area is open with vaulted living/dining area ceilings and a full bath and kitchen.

Enjoy the many nature loving locations nearby –
- Ricketts Glen (2 min), State Gamelands #13 (10 min), Worlds End (30 min) – for hiking
- Frances Slocum (20 min) – swim in the pool and go boating
- Moon Lake (20 min) – go fishing and biking. FALLS TRAIL SYSTEM UPDATE: As of 4/1/25, the Falls Trail system is now fully open for the summer season with no restrictions. Please make sure you wear proper footwear for the rugged terrain (hiking boots, not flip flops or sneakers), bring plenty of water, know and do not exceed your physical ability level, and plan your route so you end up back where you parked.

Great place to stay.

Perfect place to stay for easy access to Ricketts Glen and surrounding hiking options. The home is well kept and had everything we needed. Camp fire pit outside was a big plus as well. Property manager was responsive and great to deal with. Whenever I make it back to the area I would definitely book it again.

Relaxing home to return to after day of hiking!

We loved this little cabin. It was the perfect location for us to visit Ricketts Glenn State Park for hiking, and return to what felt like a home away from home for a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the fire pit one evening. Would recommend this enthusiastically.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect for a quick getaway to explore the falls at Ricketts Glen Park, quiet and secluded. Cabin had everything need for your stay, nicely updated and decorated. Would definitely recommend!

Great little cottage

This cottage was perfect for my wife and I. We were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and it was super close to rickets Glenn. Very relaxing felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Wish we had more time to stay. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to stay near rickets Glenn.

Carefree getaway

Perfect getaway

The cabin was a perfect size for our hiking getaway. Close to Ricketts Glen state park with amazing waterfalls. And not too far from Worlds End state park, which has a little bit more challenging rustic hikes. Cabin was clean & had all the essentials for our week. Perfect

Great base for Ricketts Glen

This is a very nice place to stay if you're spending extended time at Ricketts Glen. The location is great, hidden away off the main road but still easily accessible. It's very well-supplied; we had everything we needed. We loved the screened back porch and the hammock, and the grill came in handy. Jessica made sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend it!

Cozy getaway

We enjoyed our stay there and the area in general. The house has all the amenities listed and then some. Host is very responsive. There is some road traffic noise and I did end up using earplugs at night. But still a great little getaway.

Peaceful getaway. Great place to kick back and relax after a day of hiking Ricketts Glen. Very close to the park. Near the highway but secluded by the surrounding wooded area. Great fire pit area outdoors with seating and screened in porch. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back again.

Truly a hidden gem... If you blink, you'll miss it!

Cozy, cute, clean and quiet. This spacious cabin is ideally located near the magnificent Ricketts Glen State Park, and yet not too far out to allow for convenient access to the Wilkes Barre Scranton metro. If you are looking for an escape - a little hideaway this is a good shout! We'll furnished, and a complete enough kitchen to get the job done for the home chef with ingenuity. We will be back again, for sure!

Cozy Modern Cabin

If you’re looking for a cozy little cabin, I highly recommend this wonderful place. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway. This cabin has everything you need to include extra toiletries. You are 10 min at most from the Ricketts Glen waterfalls and close to places to grab a bite to eat. I didn’t want to leave! Thank you for letting us stay here!

Great getaway

We stayed there for one night before a nearby event. There is a good bit of road noise, but not too noticable inside. Great screened in porch, hammock and fire pit. Nice and clean. We would stay again.

Cutest Little Cabin!

This place was adorable inside and out! I loved the décor. Everything was cute and comfortable. My absolute favorite was the screened in porch. We sat outside on the comfortable furniture with pillows and blankets as the sun set. We could hear the sound of the creek, many birds, and the wind in the trees. It would have been perfection if the traffic on the road outside wasn't so loud. However, the property was totally hidden from the road or any other houses. Very private and in the middle of nature. We had a wonderful time at Ricketts Glen State Park which was very close. Owner was very friendly!

Cute, efficient and close to where we needed to be.

Instead of staying all the way in Wilkes-Barre at a hotel when visiting my sister for the family cookie weekend, we found this gem just 7 minutes away! We appreciated the location, very serene. It was a tad difficult to turn off into the driveway from 118 as the signs are small. Something different and/or reflective would help. Would stay here again.
