"This was a perfect getaway location. It was quiet and peaceful and allowed good bonding time with my family. The host has such a neat vibe/theme to the cabin and left a note and snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. All the main amenities/essentials were provided. "Perfect place for my very odd stay...was just me and my dog a few days, then girlfriend with celebration of both cancer free, then grandsons and husband, then alone again. The fishing from docks was fantastic! The house setup and decoration was perfect. The neighbors are the owners so any problems taken care of quickly! I was allowed to park my car inthe garage during a storm! The location is wonderful only about 5 miles from town. Neighbors around me were very friendly and offered great suggestions for food and shopping. Big yard for my dog to run around. Quiet house and cooled down fast or warmed up fast. Washer /dryer was great. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It's a beautiful little house with almost everything you need for a lovely lakeside vacation. The fridge-freezer is smaller than your standard size, but it easily held three days' worth of food with plenty of room to spare. Unless you're trying to pack a few cases of beer in there, I feel sure that you could fit enough food for an entire week. The lake was very pretty but choked with weeds which makes swimming near shore very unpleasant. We took a paddleboard out to a deep area and swam there. The water is clear and clean. The host and the next-door neighbor are very responsive. We were having some trouble with the deck door and the neighbor came over almost as soon as I hit "send" on my message! The only suggestion I would make is to make the house a little more practical. There was no sponge for dishes (just a brush that was awkward to use on smaller things), no kitchen washcloth for the countertops and stove (I didn't want to use the white bathroom washcloths), no toilet brush, and none of the basics that you usually find in the kitchens of rental properties: salt and pepper, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, maybe a chip clip or two... Overall, I recommend it and I would love to go back!"
