Welcome to Sjölunda, a charming and spacious house with 17 beds, perfect for large families or several groups traveling together. Built in 1901, this house radiates classic Swedish charm with tiled stoves, wooden floors and beautiful period details – a true “Madicken house” in the idyllic countryside of Orust. There is plenty of space for socializing, both indoors and outdoors. The house has two floors with seven bedrooms, three toilets, one bath and one shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining room seats 10–12 people. Several living rooms feature TVs with Chromecast, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Outside, you’ll find a heated above-ground pool – perfect for sunny summer days – as well as swings, a slide, a playhouse, lounge furniture and both a charcoal and a gas grill. The fenced lawn makes it safe for children to play freely. From the terrace, you can enjoy panoramic views of meadows, forests and Lake Kollungeröd – a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.



Things to do in the area:

The house is located in a scenic area close to both lakes, forests and the sea. At Lake Kollungeröd (about 250 m away) you can relax or explore Kultehamnsleden, a hiking trail rich in nature and culture. Only 7 minutes by car you can even try camel riding – a unique experience for all ages! For swimming and family fun, Svanesund Beach is just 6 km away, with jetties, diving tower, playground and restrooms. You can also visit Svanesund’s Generations Park (5 minutes by car) with outdoor gyms, skate park and walking trails for all ages.

Shops, restaurants and a marina can be found in Henån, only 10 minutes away.



Good to know about this accommodation:

• A deposit of 4,000 SEK will be reserved on your card upon arrival. It will be released within a week after departure if the house is left in good condition.

• Final cleaning is mandatory; an additional fee of 2000 SEK will be added to the price.

• Electricity is included.

• Pets allowed on request.

• Smoking is not permitted.

• Charging electric cars is not allowed.

• The above-ground pool is heated, but the temperature (20–30°C) may vary depending on the weather and if the cover is used overnight.

• Youth groups are not accepted, and parties are not allowed.
