"The Marriott at former Six Flags in Vallejo is definitely having issues. No coffee in the lobby, bistro was closed and the atmosphere felt strained. The room was good and clean, but as I booked through hotels.com, it was probably one of the few rooms with a view of a wall. The freeway sounds were fairly loud. Parking was $10 additional. Security was good."

"We’ve stayed at this facility several times over the years. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. The room (#117) was clean and the temperature control was good. There was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. There was some damage in the shower which needed repair. The difference we saw was the change in the neighborhood…and not for the better. In fact, they’d installed big metal fencing between the back parking lot and the rooms, so you couldn’t get directly to the room…unless someone had left the fence gate ajar. The neighborhood has gotten very sketchy. We did have an issue with a car pulling into the parking lot at 1:30 am and playing EXTREMELY LOUD music. But, after I called the office about it, a guard with a flashlight and a very big dog made the rounds and the car left! The office was very quick to respond. It’s a shame this area has gotten worse, because the hotel was right next door to a grocery store - which was great for picking up snacks and things. I think I’d have felt better if we’d have parked in an inside space, rather than around the back, next to our room. "

"This property is a great value! It is an older home but has been updated. It has a very homey feel and was very comfortable. The kitchen had all the things we needed to make our meals and all amenities' promised were available. The backyard was Stunning! "
