Hidden Treasure

Near the beautiful lago di bracciano lies the residenza di rocca romana. For those who wish to experience true italian hospitality this is an abolute must-see. The scenery is idyllic and the rooms are luxurious. The host, antonello, is extremely generous and helpful. Me and my girlfriend were travelling by public transport and antonello insisted on being out private driver. A true italian with a million stories. Every drive he took us on was a real treat. The food... was amazing. For low prices you will get the best food we had in three weeks. The chef is kind and every day he makes a new menu. You can lay by the pool and take in the scenery and enjoy the food or visit de beautiful town of trevigniano. Both are recommended. When in Rome, visit antonello! Nice hotel a short drive from Rome

Set in a lovely location in the countryside whilst still being close enough to rome that we could drive into the City centre most days. From the outside this is a lovely looking place, nice scenery, good facilities on site and all of the accommodation blocks look well thought out. inside the room was a bit of a different story with a few basic things being overlooked; despite being a room designed to sleep 5/6 there were only 3 full sets of cutlery, the cooker didn't work initially so we had to go and ask for a lighter from the staff, the bathroom tap stopped working if turned for cold water and would only give warm water, all only small things but all things that you would possibly expect to be checked when cleaning the rooms between guests. The staff were very helpful with our issues and more than friendly enough to make us feel welcomed. The on site restaurant was very nice and they even specially prepared us a meal when we didn't like anything off of the original menu for that day.

Nette Location, wenig Service

Das Hitel befindet sich etwas außerhalb, daher ist ein Auto/ Fahrrad unbedingt notwendig. Die Location ist sehr schön, so dass hier auch regelmäßig Hochzeiten stattfinden. Wir haben ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten. Das Zimmer war gut. Insgesamt befindet sich die Anlage in einem akzeptablen Zustand. Eine Renovierung würde gut tun, da sich im Poolbereich schon die Fliesen lösen und auch im Zimmer einige Dinge defekt waren (Lampe, Bidet, etc.). Die Zimmer werden leider nur gegen einen Aufpreis gereinigt, ebenso wie der Handtuchwechsel. Alle Informationen müssen selbst erfragt werden. So erhält man auch nur auf Nachfrage eine Wurst- und Käseplatte beim Frühstück als Ergänzung zum süßen Frühstück. Der Preis für das Frühstück liegt bei 4€ p.P. und ist günstig/angemessen. Insgesamt waren wir vom Service enttäuscht, da man doch sehr allein gelassen wird (bis hin zur Nachbestellung verschiedener Hygieneartikel, welche man nur auf Nachfrage erhält). Wunderschöner Pool, leider mit abgenutzten und zum Teil defekten Liegen.

Mooie en rustige locatie

We hebben hier twee nachten verbleven in een 2 persoons kamer. 's Ochtends kon gebruik gemaakt worden van het ontbijt tegen een kleine vergoeding. We hadden een prettige kamer met een goed werkend koelkastje. Groot zwembad en veel plek om te zitten of te liggen. WIFI werkte goed. Het is echter geen hotel, maar een soort vakantiehuis, hetgeen betekent dat niet dagelijks de kamer wordt schoongemaakt etc. Het kan wel gedaan worden tegen een extra betaling. Geen probleem, maar het was ons ontgaan in de bevestiging. Een prima plek om een paar dagen te verblijven. Wij waren zeer tevreden met onze keus voor Rocca Romana en dat wij niet voor een verblijf in Trevignano zelf gekozen hadden.

Relax by the pool

The venue was surrounded by nature. You certainly need a car to get to the nearest village or to the lake. This made it perfectly suitable for a relaxing stay at the pool, though some sunbeds need to be refurnished. The appartment had a small kitchen however it was poorly equipped for cooking your meal. Excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were served at the main building upon request and at additional reasonable costs. Wifi signal was available though very weak inside the appartment. The host was very friendly and willing to provide you with things that were missing, upon request. In summary we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everybody who is looking for some uncomplicated rest under the sun.

Super schöne, abseits in der Natur gelegene Unterkunft. Für Ruhe- und Erholungsuchende ideal. Sehr schönes Swimmingpool und geschmackvolles Zimmer. Ohne Privatauto und GPS schwierig zu erreichen!

da una matrimoniale ad un cottage..

Dopo aver prenotato per una stanza matrimoniale ho saputo che (al solito prezzo) ci avrebbero messo in un cottage perchè proprio in quel week end si sarebbe tenuto da loro un ricevimento di matrimonio, e per farci stare più tranquilli ci avrebbero messo più isolati in una sistemazione che teoricamente sarebbe costata di più. Grosso inconveniente è stato non aver potuto usufruire della piscina per metà giornata proprio per via del matrimonio, ma sono stati carinissimi a cercare di riparare e a cercare di essere accomodanti. Il posto è meraviglioso, valeva ogni centesimo, vicinissimo al lago di bracciano. Unica pecca: essendo concentrati su altro, ci hanno messi in un cottage sfitto da un po', dove sarebbe bastata una spolverata per renderlo perfetto, mentre abbiamo trovato tante ragnatele, doccia sporchina e chili di polvere (io sono allergica). Sono certa che se avessimo pagato a prezzo pieno ci avrebbero riservato un altro trattamento! Ad ogni modo non mi dispiacerebbe per niente tornarci, anzi, magari per qualche giorno in più!!
