Great family beach getaway

This house was great for a few families to come together for a beach week. The location near the ice-cream shop was a great draw for our teens. The space was well cared for and with just the right amenities.

Our First Stay on Holden Beach

Property was nice, could have been updated a little. Deck chairs needed updated. Use of more comfortable chairs for us older people. And more than a broom would have been nice to help pick up the sand on the floors. Beach stuff could have been checked on before we checked in. The beach access was nice to use, and it was close to beach house. If we ever stay again on Holden we will probably pick this home. L. Kaiser

Birthday Getaway

We utilized this house for a birthday get away. It was nice to have two separate units, allowing those who go to sleep early to sleep separate than the night owls. The house was generally clean, but there were a few bugs here and there. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider this home again if vacationing at Holden.

Perfect for Family Vacation

Our family LOVED this property. We have a pretty big family, and this property hosted our entire family with so much space and comfortability. The new additions to the home were beautiful. Our family really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and just spending quality time together. The private beach access was easy to find, and we loved the access to the garage. Our family definitely made use of the bikes and chairs. The check-in process was really easy, and it was easy to communicate back and forth with Matt. Highly recommend staying in this home! We hope to be back in the future.

September Getaway

We booked our vacation very late. The property description was subdued, but adequate. We correctly assumed that the decor and amenities would be modest. The kitchen was well furnished and the beds were comfortable enough. We loved the simplicity and tranquility of Holden Beach! Suggest to the host that screens on all the windowsills would permit open windows and allow guests to turn off AC. Instructions for use of TV were different from one notebook or email to the next and were woefully inadequate. We were never able to watch anything on live TV, despite having several apps that should have worked.

Perfect house for a beach vacay

We had 3 adults, 2 children, and a senior beagle in our group - each person had their own bedroom which was great. The mattresses & pillows were all obviously new, and the property was clean, well-maintained, and had cute decor. Communication with the property managers/ owners was clear and prompt - they were very friendly, and we didn't have any problems with the check-in or check out process. The location was also great - very easy access to the beach and bridge. We're definitely planning to return for future stays.

Family vacation

Property was exactly as described. Plenty of space for our 6 adults and 1 dog, in the BEST location on Holden Beach. Definitely has the 1970’s vibe, just as the owners described. Very comfortable beds. Very clean and everything worked. High quality beach chairs and a wagon were very helpful. Would rent again!
