"The lobby area was really nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff was pleasant. I was a little disappointed with the our king suite. The hotel was a renovated old historic building (possibly a warehouse). The kitchen area had a drop ceiling which looked nice. But, when I looked up at the ceiling from the bed there was no drop ceiling and there was this big round recessed circle in the ceiling that was painted but felt like I was sleeping in a warehouse. The pictures on the website looked like there was a TV in the bedroom and the "living/kitchen" area but our room only had a TV in the bedroom. We would stay there again if we are in the Duluth area."

"This classic Duluth, MN property is an excellent location, terrific food, best hotel-lake views in the city, and a good value. Hotel is a ‘dated’ yet we had a great time! Beds are comfy and fridge kept the beer and leftovers cold. Plan a little extra time for the elevators when it’s real busy."

"Cool "old school" hotel with lots of charm and right on the main street. A little dated and worn, but comfortable beds, fun atmosphere, convenient location, and an AWESOME restaurant on the main floor just off of the lobby. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would stay there again on a future visit to Superior, WI."
