Breakfast service is bad and rude. Lights, toilet are not working, have to ask maintenance to come. Heater is always turn on while it is in off mode. And the air comes out is not heat, it is cold air. Overall, I think the hotel is too old.

I come quite often to the Bay Area as my daughter lives there. I have tried several hotels. When I booked I checked the reviews and they are not always nice. We had 5 rooms and I can tell you we all enjoyed our stay. They serve nice breakfast.

Great place to stay
I will definitely stay here in the future. I was on a 6-night business trip, so I wanted a hotel room with a full kitchen. Larkspur had just what I was looking for. Most impressive was that they had dishes, silverware, and pots & pans. The facility was very tidy. The staff was very friendly. The location is very convenient to Hwy 101.

Really nice place to stay in, reasonable price, good service. Location is near freeway so easy acess, walking distance grocery store, gas station. Definetly try out dish & dash thats right next to the hotel, amazing middle east food!!

Lakespur Landing Sunnyvale
I had to stay in town for a week for work during the holiday season. (December). The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that could use some attention was the refrigerator in the room. It rattled a bit and was a little annoying when trying to sleep. Other than that, it was the perfect location and the cost wasn't bad.

Please avoid staying at this property. Their amenities are damaged and they take money from the guests for their damages. I was not informed that I need to inspect the place before living there. When I left, they deducted $250 from my account without their manager getting in touch with me or having any conversation regarding the deduction.

They don’t accept debit cards for the 250 deposit. And I have a credit card however they said that they wouldn’t be able to put the deposit back on the credit card that I have so I would have been out 250 dollars. So I didn’t get the room that I paid for which was 180 so they stole my money

On the web site it does say that we only accept bank issued credit cards. Debit are not accepted. The credit card you gave us was a prepaid credit card which we do not accept. When you called back and said you have a new form of payment we were more than happy to check you in. You just did not come back to stay with us.

Housekeeping didn’t show up for two days, even though we had the “Please Clean” sign out both days. We had to ask the front desk for a cleaning during our two week stay. When we had the “do Not Disturb” sign out, housekeeping tried to access our room for a cleaning while we were still sleeping. The housekeeping staff was hit or miss forgetting the trash and not vacuuming the entire time. The desk staff was very friendly and got things done for us. Breakfast was cleared away 40 minutes before the end time so we had to ask for food and beverage items. The road noise, during the night, is horrible: a lot of noisy cars and speeding down the street, making it hard to stay asleep. The lock on our balcony door was broken and we couldn't sit on the balcony. The complimentary laundry facilities were nice. All in all, pretty convenient for longer term stays except for housekeeping.

Love this hotel!
What a great place to stay! The room was fantastic (kitchen, living area, roomy bedroom and double vanity in bathroom!!) SUPER CLEAN. Decent breakfast (included), coffee/tea available all day and cookies in the afternoon. Very accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

Right before we went to bed we noticed the bed REEKED of pee and what we assume was animal hair. We went down stairs and ask the man working what we should do. He questioned us about why we did not come down sooner before trying to help with the actual problem. (We had been out after check in and got back around that time) then he told us that the manager checks every room so there’s no way it should smell like pee. Anyways after that he said he can offer us new sheets because the cleaning crew won’t be around, since the comforter was the problem we asked if there was any blankets he could give us and he went back and found a blanket. Once we went back to our room to change our own sheets we realized the pee had soaked through the sheets and onto the mattress. We went back down and a different woman was there for nightshift. We explained the whole issue to her again and she also asked what took us so long. Eventually we were given a new room but they had extreme attitude and thought we were being dishonest. We are low maintenance people and we felt very upset that it took so long for them to believe us and for them to give us a new room.

Everything need for a comfortable stay. Location was great for accessing Mountain View and Palo Alto. Limited breakfast choices but adequate.
