"I reserved through Expedia months before my stay which was for a big BTS concert. I called a week before my stay and spoke with Aldo. He told me he was not able to confirm my reservation because it was BTS weekend, however, I had made reservations a day before the venue I could be okay but, not sure I would get a room. I reiterated that I had my reservations months prior. I arrived at Ted Roof Inn West and spoke with Aldo. He asked me to come back at 3 pm, however he could still not guarantee me a room, even though, I had reserved months prior. Two women arrived and Aldo held their bags until their room was available. I was there and asked Aldo, I can leave my bags here till check-in??? He stated no, but had done so for those two women as a courtesy but, did not recommend for me because my luggage would not be secured. Again, he led me to believe my reservation booked in advance was not a sure thing. I felt he used these scare tactics to have me offer him money. He kept saying, you booked through Expedia??? Did you pay??? Why did it have to be so complicated. When 3 pm arose, other workers came in to fill the reservations and Aldo crept into the background. The other workers took care of business and I got my reserved room. Before that, Aldo acted as if I was at his mercy for a room. I was so disgusted with him and I will never travel to El Paso again or book with Red Roof again!!!!"

"NEVER AGAIN EXTREMLY DISAPONTING!!! The room was disgusting scratches all over the walls the carpet was so badly stained and smelled like urine. The smell coming from the AC unit almost gaged me the boarder around the floor was pealing. We stay at La Quinta's across the country we have NEVER had such a horrible experience. Unfortunately we had no other options as there was some concert in town and rooms were $2000 a night and up "

"I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Holiday Inn El Paso West - Sunland Park. My experience was plagued by unacceptable room conditions and a severe lack of professional customer service, both of which fall far below IHG’s advertised standards. 1. Substandard Room Conditions (Bi-Level Room) Upon checking in, we discovered that our room was in a state of neglect. Specific issues included: • Hygiene: The carpets and walls were visibly dirty, and the shower had not been properly sanitized. • Maintenance: The downstairs television would not power on, and the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak with no hot water available. • Safety/Security: The sliding door was stuck and could not be closed or locked properly, which is a significant security concern. • Service Failure: Despite calling to report these issues, no one was sent to assist us, and housekeeping failed to clean our room entirely during our stay. 2. Professional Misconduct & Service Failure The most distressing part of our stay occurred at 1:30 AM on May 4th 2026. After returning from a concert, our key cards failed to unlock the gate to our room. I called the front desk to request assistance, as we were carrying food and were exhausted from walking. The only male staff member at the front deskon duty was incredibly rude and dismissive."

"In fairness hotel was under some renovations during my stay so it’s hard to comment on cleanliness. The room seemed clean and updated but the bath area was not updated. The breakfast was okay with scrambled eggs and a choice of meat but only toast and packaged muffins, no bagels or English muffins. Oatmeal was available. So breakfast was okay if you’re not into a big breakfast. Overall it’s a good hotel especially if you get a good price."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. The hotel was in a great location, especially for attending events at the Sun Bowl, which made everything very convenient. The breakfast was surprisingly good with a great variety of options including fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, and more. We also loved that they offered convenient grab-and-go breakfast bags for guests on the move. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Please the check in time in the hotel was too late we arrived almost 12, they did not give us a room, the clerk girl Fer was kind with an incident with my girl, congrats, the swimming pool dirty, breakfast at 8:30 awful (food disgusting)! You closed drink fountain after breakfast hours, I only wanted water. "
