Crown and Mitre Hotel
Parking was easy & we didn’t use the car again during our stay. The hotel is great for exploring the city. We would recommend it for a short stay in the city.

Ox Hotel Carlisle
This was the Hilltop hotel which has come a long way since its heyday. The car park is good for a first impression but the broken hotel board on the building as you go to reception tells a different story. The Halston
Really lovely staff, incredible rooms with so much space. It's right in the centre but has a car park next to it too. Can't fault it really.

Luxury lodge, Bassenthwaite,Nr Keswick, at the foot of Skiddaw.
Good location, easy to get to most areas of the lakes. Modern clean facilities. Twin room a bit small for Adults. Good parking. Plenty of walking from lodge.

Character Cottage with fabulous mountain views in the North Lakes District
All very clean. Excellent kitchen. Views fabulous. Great responsive heating system. Please have a shaving mirror and light over the existing bathroom mirror
