Clean and nice rooms, but we were in the room near the elevators and we could hear everything at night. People were loud in the hall and it was hard to sleep some nights. Other than that, everything was great.

Bed was comfortable. 3 elevators so never had to wait long. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet. SSSOOOO noisy, could hear every cough, sneeze, toilet seat drop, room door closing. The fire alarm at 3am wasn’t great but the lack of organized evacuation was probably the most concerning part of our stay. No leadership, no communication, just flashing lights and alarm bells. The guests were left to their own devices to know where to go. After 20 minutes in the rainy parking lot everyone just started going back in because the alarms had stopped. Halfway up the stairwell the alarms went off again. Some kept going, most stayed put for a few more minutes before proceeding to their rooms. The room across from us was just evacuating their rooms when we were going back into ours. The fire department made an announcement over the intercom 10 minutes later that the emergency was over. Never heard anything from hotel staff in the moment or the next day. Disappointing.

So quiet for being right downtown.

Location was perfect for U of T tour and Yorkville. Rooms were comfortable, well appointed and quiet at night. Coffee in the lobby was excellent. I would stay here again.
