Top Summit Lake State Recreation Area Hotel Reviews
Americas Best Value Inn Onawa
10/10 Excellent
"This was a basic room. It was clean and comfortable and that’s all that we needed. The shower had excellent water pressure and there was an excellent little Mexican restaurant directly across the street (Fiesta Brava)."
Holiday Inn Express Fremont by IHG
8/10 Good
"I would say again. The room was clean but there were 1-2 ladybug looking bugs and we killed a wasp in the room. The staff were friendly. I was going to a wedding in the area so check in time I fell right at the time of the wedding and I asked for an early check-in earlier in the week they could not secure an early check-in until the day of which was a little bit frustrating however in the end they accommodated and the weekend staff were super nice and understanding. They had a good variety at breakfast. I wasn’t a fan of the sausage links and eggs but I was able to find items that were good. The price is a little more expensive than what I would’ve liked to have paid, but I would stay here again. Parking felt pretty safe as well however, there was an area at the top of the outside of the building that was open and needed repairs. Other than that the rest of it was clean on the outside."

"Newer, up-to-date property. Good cleanliness. Great breakfast. Some cable stations had slow buffering."
Horizon Inn and Suites
8/10 Good
"Breakfast started at 5:00 am as opposed to 7 like most. That was helpful."
Bright New 2BR in Tekamah at Tiger Town
8/10 Good
"The place was decorated nicely. The issues that we had were, they had thin walls, the water pressure on the showers were very low and the TV worked on and off."
Perfect Stay Inn & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Great old hotel! Really nice area and you can’t beat the price. If you are looking for modern and ritzy, this ain’t the place for you. If you are looking for a throwback, classic old hotel with character, give it a try!"
