"The Bidwell House is a little piece of heaven on earth. It is clean, peaceful, beautifully decorated and very hospitable. The cookies and food are excellent. The hostess is so accommodating. Each room has its own character and charm. I stay here often and love it."

"This was a very big and cozy place to stay in. We loved the balcony at night and the living room was great to just sit and watch movies in. It’s a great location not too far from the lake and not a bad drive to the national parks. The hosts were great very easy to check in and out and very sweet people we would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"This property was severely impacted by the Dixie fire of 2021 and the flooding months after. Seeing the fire devastation all around it is amazing this property survived. The accommodations are rustic. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Food was good and accommodating to various diets. Advertising needs to be corrected. There is no pool. Showers are a walk from accommodations."

"It is a very spacious home that had all the amenities you would expect and even some you would not. They had a fully stocked coffee and tea bar as well as some snacks for us to enjoy during our stay. Relaxing on the rear deck was wonderful in the evening after long days of hiking. I will definitely consider this home if I travel to that area again."
